Possibly the most fun character ever created in the history of everything? Yeah, probably. The Doctor, a Timelord from the planet Gallifrey, traveling through time and space. His main hobby is saving THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE AGAIN AND AGAIN!

It is a fact, huh? Death's Head is my favourite comic character of all time, yes? During my childhood I excitedly read about Death's Head cutting a swath of death and destruction through the Autobot and Decepticon ranks, hrm? Even blowing poor Bumblebee into tiny yellow pieces, uh? DH had a rather amusing way of speaking with nearly every sentence being a question, yes?

Everyone's favourite chain smoking Liverpudlian demon hunter (I made sure that there was no evidence that The Beatles hunted demons before I made that statement).

Marvel's official British superhero. Only way he could be anymore British would be if he wore a monocle and a top hat and said "I say old chap, jolly bad show".
As well as being very British, Captain Britain was the savior of omniverse and the multiverse... well EVERYthing bascially.

Why are butlers always British? Seriously... think of a butler and I bet he'll be British.... and called Jeeves.

This guy makes Conan look like a pussy cat. He's got an axe called Brainbiter for goodness sake! Slaine also has a genuine 'bersker mode' (RPGers rejoice) when his body goes all Hulkified and he goes into a battle frenzy.

The worlds unofficial strongest man! Desperate Dan is a cowboy from the American town of Cactusville. He's been in every single issue of The Dandy which started way back in 1937! That must be some sort of record, phone Guinness!

OK so he's not a comic character but he should be with that wizard-like beard. Writer of Watchmen, V for Vendetta and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, just happens to be 3 of my favourite comics of all time.

Well it was about time Marvel bought the rights to Marvelman. I mean 'Marvel'man, duh! I've read loads of his 50's comics and they're so cheesey they're positively stilton. In one story the King of the Vegetables invaded the surface because two farmers were arguing over the size of their marrows.

Football (soccer to some) extordinaire. Was the main character in the comic strip, Roy of the Rovers, which lasted from '57-'93. He somehow managed to get kidnapped or be the target of a murderer every football season.

Dan Dare, pilot of the future!! Saving the Earth from alien forces in the late 1990s! Thats right the 1990s. Now I'm not seeing many spaceships or invading aliens recently. I'm still waiting for my hover boots and 3-course meals that come in pill form.

Lets face it guys, she's famous for having huge norks. Ok, so her first game wasn't bad for its time but it was only the success it was because of Lara's giant fun-bags.
Run out of slang words for 'breasts' now that won't get me banned from Comicvine. No wait just thought of milk machines, lol.

4 of the original 5 were British. And wasn't Captain Nemo educated in England? That's practically four and a half out of the five.

Was surprised the bifocal-clad wizard was even on CV but yep, he's been in a few issues of MAD. Amazing there hasn't been a proper series comics to add to the Harry Potter cash-cow.

I love the Transformers. I love it like a fat kid loves lollies. So I was desperate to shoehorn one of them in. And Perceptor has an English accent. He also transforms into a microscope which is just marvelous!

However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. Little known fact! The British flag is only called the Union Jack if it is flying at sea. Back on terra firma is just called the Union Flag although that would be a rubbish name for a superhero.
