I think the confusion comes from the fact that people don't know if United Kingdom is a country or if the country is England/Scotland/Wales.
I live here and even I get confused. I think it's basically the United Kingdom is a country thats made up of smaller countries. I won't mention Great Britain because that'll begin to noodle peoples heads. I'll start doing the 'home country, United Kingdom' thing on Creator pages since it seems to make the most sense.

I shy away from working on creator pages and part of the reason is cause I don't know if the town/country is meant to be where they are now or where they are from, both kind of make sense.
Just a minor quibble thats been bugging me about the 'country' of British creators. It seems at the moment half of them are from the United Kingdom and the other half are from England/Scotland/Wales etc. They should all either be from the United Kingdom or all from their native home countries.
Of course we could just have both on there like Grant Morrison would be-
Looks like some wars have been added as concepts now. I'll make a start adding them to the 1,000's of British war comics. You just have to look at the Commando volumes to see how popular these things were in the 60s and 70s.
I was wondering about a World War III concept page. It's a very common theme that runs through all media, not just comics, although maybe we're more used to seeing the aftermath of World War III in some post-holocaust world.
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 1969 final landed on my doorstep this morning. The cover's been doing the rounds since last year but it's still mighty fine.
I can't help but get a little excited over this since the original Generation 1 Marvel series (along with the marvelous Marvel UK stories) is my favourite comic ever. Also great they have writer Simon Furman (legend) and artist Andy Wildman (I prefer Geoff Senior but you can't win them all) onboard.
