Talia isn't real. I don't mean to say that in an obtuse way. The writers haven't made her character have any real consistency through out her history. Some critics will get annoyed when they see characters acting out of character, but I don't have any emotional investment in Talia to even feel that annoyance because she just isn't a real character to me. So I honestly don't think there is an answer to @Babs question right now. There won't be until DC creates a more solid direction for this character.
Cass needs to come back, but not as Robin. Steph is best as spoiler, but I'm okay with this result. I voted for Tim. Based on the events of Teen Titans he probably won't be coming to the Batcave any time soon, but I'd love to him to be Robin he was before the New 52.
If Batman and Robin becomes Bruce and Harper, I'd rather they cancel the series. I would not read that. I'd find a better way to spend my money.
Ha! Thanks fellows! I really enjoyed Punisher WZ and FF quite a bit. The only reason FF didn't make it in this time was that the story while being very sweet and beautifully done didn't have quite the level of action that other titles had. I still rate it very high and was tempted to have FF knock Batman Inc out, I just couldn't. Tough to choose just five, but that's all I had time to write about.
@k4tzm4n You read my mind. I was just thinking about making a poll on this same topic.
For me it's Tim Drake all the way. He was the best Robin, IMO pre-52. Dick might be the best character overall now That he's a former Batman and current Nightwing & Jason is probably the coolest member of the Batclan, but he was a terrible Robin. Tim was the first character to be awesome as Robin. He helped recreate that character into something really cool. His solo Robin title was a very strong book all on it's own, and it established him as a Peter Paker-esque character (sans the super powers) with a deeply written and entertaining social life. He was also the Robin that was ordained most likely to be the heir of Batman because he had more training and detective skills than any previous Robin, and occasionally showed the potential to outsmart Bruce.
In the DC 52 (not so new anymore) , he hasn't been given the recognition and treatment thay his character deserves. It's time to make Tim the real Robin.
I'd be fine with Steph Brown or Cassandra as Robin, but I will be furious if they try to call Harper Row a "Robin."
Best case scenario equals- Tim helps Bruce out as Robin after Damian's death much like he did after Jason's death, before the eventual return of Damian.
Worst case scenario = Harper Row being shoe horned in as the new Robin.
