What DC title is worth picking up?

I am finally coming back to comics and realise i am still heavy on the Marvel side. I need a DC title to read. But of course what title? 
i was a Green Lantern reader about 3yrs ago and I have missed the Blackest Night arc. 
I can not stand Superman....never have, never will. 
Batman, does he still have 14 titles? and I don't think I could handle Nightwing as Batman 
and I have no idea what is happening in the Dc world or any of their characters......so what do I do? Where do I turn?

I would give the current Batman title a shot, it is very good and Dick is very Batman like throughout. Other great books that I would recommend are:
 

  • Secret Six
  • The Shield
  • Power Girl

Try Secret Six.It's a self contained story and the best title DC currently produce.

Gotham City Streets is a pretty good mix of GC's supporting cast.

Most of the DC titles I liked got cancelled.So I will got with Batman & Robin or GL.That seems to be where the action is at.I would also recommend Red Robin,unless you have something against Tim Drake.It's a solid read.

Maybe Adventure Comics... I know you said you didn't like Superman but it's really freakin' good.
Detective Comics just finished two arcs starring Batwoman that were really good. Might want to pick those up in trades.

Thank you all.  Think I'll have a look at Secret Six as it seemed to be the most popular...And Maybe GL. I will have a look at Batman with Sam Keith's art too.

More or less my thoughts on it. I would also add Wonder Woman and Superman: World of New Krypton.

you gotta check out green lantern some flash stuff  
and anything by geoff johns that guy knows how to really tell a story
