You are aware that the energy of androids literally cannot be sensed right? That’s not an excuse, that’s how the series has always worked, their energy can’t be sensed because of the way their bodies work.

Are you aware in DBS they literally explain everything? The little skirmish we saw 5 seconds ago, Whis & co gotta comment on it and explain it. You know what they said after 17 managed to get behind Jiren and hurt him? "Because his guard was down" that was it. That was their explanation.
It's an excuse BECAUSE we don't know if Jiren doesn't rely on sensing energy, it was never an issue for DBS enemies nor was it ever brought up. You're just assuming. You still don't have an explanation on how Jiren completely saw through Hit's Time Skip outside of "His strength goes beyond time" comment by Vados.
They never brought it up to be a factor in any fights. You're just assuming that's the reason even though they already gave an explanation for it. "Because Jiren's guard was down"

The whole "I cant sense their energy" thing hasn't been relevant since U9 got erased. Only U7 fighters rely on sensing their opponents as it was never brought up as an issue for anyone else.
UI doesn't rely on sensing and Jiren still predicted where Hit would attack even through Time Skip.

DBS is very inconsistent. They retcon a lot of things from DB and DBZ and they even contradict what they say in DBS (Jiren has no weakness of letting his guard down even against Time-Skip during Hit Vs Jiren episode but later Android 17 manages to get a hit in and hurt Jiren)
They're almost on the levels of inconsistency of comic book characters
