I can agree with the first 4. The Spider-man scene, because of it's popularity and the reuse of the cover is the best one on here. The Superman one, sure, but it's so old that most of us saw the film version at such a young age it's almost MORE original then the comic. The Killing Joke reference tho............I never saw it. For 1 it's Joker breaking a completely differant character. For 2, the situations are so differant. I'm wondering where you came up with this to call it a "scene from a comic to film" I don't like. I wonder if Nolans brother and David what's his name even thought that when they wrote it. What I am very very surprised about tho, and even more so since "Year One" just came out this past year on DVD that the scene from "Batman Begins" where Batman uses a device to have horde of bats come to his rescue when he's in a building surrounded by police. It's in the book and it's in the DVD. Other then a characters orgin there really isn't anything more obvious then this scene. Also, what about in Spider-Man. Green Goblin dropping Peters love interest from the Brooklyn Bridge?

I'm wondering if Blackhand is still now in Indigo tribe member after the revamp. hope so. Can't wait for Batman and Robin, this arch has been great, but how they've been handleing Wolverine and the X-Men is in no way what anyone expected. It's not just well written, it's a fun book.

where do you rest your case at?  You asked why I'm investigating the charter further and I said I'm not.  I read all the articles posted on here.  I said the book sucks because I don't like the story, what else do you want, examples?  Are you really that much of a fanboy that when someone says they don't like something just because they don't you get all hot and bothered?  I tried to be nice and say that it's just my opinion and maybe I'll be wrong and go back to it but that wasn't good enough.

I'm not investigationg anything further upon this character.  I read that article because it's on here and I pretty much read every article that is posted here by great one who make up Comicvine.  I like Aquaman because I alaways that he was a bad ass character.  I always thought Superman was a bad ass character too but I don't think I'll get to many complainers to say that his titles have sucked for many many years.  I also dropped the title because I didn't like the stories.  I allowed that freedom.  As for Bostok, maybe he'll be cool, maybe he won't.  Maybe you like the fact that you went looked up what the meaning of his name was.  I won't find out right now because Im not reading Aquaman anymore.  I like Johns.  I hope Im wrong and I have to come back to the title because to many people tell me do it because I missed out.  Oh well.  I don't like right now.  Then again Im really loving Stormwatch, and not to many people agree with me on that one.  As for merits on why I think the book sucks.  Not liking my story is my top one and pretty much the only I really have to give, isn't it?

I agree with a lot of what you said also.  I haven't read Swamp Thing, and never intented to either, but with the reviews it's getting, and a lot of people saying it's the best DC is doing I might get the trade.  I did get Animal Man, which I never read before and like it a lot.  I never considered just how much power he has and how much pretty cool ideas can be used.  I was sold in issue 1 where Animal Man takes the weight of a fly or some bug so he doesn't make any sound coming home late.  Green Lantern and Batman haven't even really been changed at all also.  Not really much of a revamp.  Some things were changed in the GL world, like Kyle Rayner but not much else.  Batman appears the same.  Dick was still Batman for a while too.  They didn't even de-age him.  How could they.  He has a 10 year old son, and raised a fully grown Dick.  The rest of the JLA is younger so I'm wondering just how much older Batman is to them.  1 book that I absolutely love tho is Stormwatch.  I read Millars and Morrisons Authority and liked it so I picked this up.  From what I've read there is not a lot of readers who like it.  I don't get it.  The art is among the best of any art by DC right now, and the book is very intelligently written.  I can see the sci-fi aspect turning some people off, and how you have to be, what I feel is, kind smarter then the casual comic reader to grasp the book.  Plus I would have thought that most people, before they picked it up, would have an idea what they were going to get into before buying it.  Anyone who thought it was going to be your typical super hero team comic book bought it because Martian Manhunter was in it, thought the cover was cool, got it because of the revamp, or it was a first issue.  Most comic readers knew who the Authority was and the type of book it was before jumping on.  What is your letter grade you give DC for where we are in the revamp tho.

So now we are pretty much in the 6th month of the revamp. I like some titles. I've dropped more then expected. The over all feeling I get right now is that the revamp is not living up to the hype. Most of the titles are going slow, with a few exceptions of course, but in the long run I think it sucks so far. at $3 a pop at say 25 books a month for 6 months that comes out to $450 that I've dished out so far and Im not happy. I picked up a lot of new titles because of the revamp. I also buy a lot of Marvel books so it's not cheap. I'd give my over all rating a C minus right now. Most of the stories that have started out have also been 6 issue stories so I've been sucked into buying them so I can complete the story. I understand that sometimes it's not a good idea to just drop a title after 2 issues because of set up and so forth, but after 4 issues I think it's safe to say if a title is going to suck or not. Ive stayed with a lot of them for 2 more months just because. Now we have Earth 2 coming out, and also with Earth 1 Batman coming out, and if it's as good as Earth 1 Superman then It's a safe bet more will follow. I'm rambleing right now but I deserve it. I want everyone to give their letter grades on what they think of the 52 revamp.
