It's been quite a while since I was on here last. I wanted to continue that Omen fan-fic, but stuff kept coming up. In the mean...

I'm looking forward to this one. Always liked Ghost Rider and always interested in seeing who else in the MU is going to have the Spirit of Vengeance.

I'm seeing a couple "female version of" comments and I don't think that really applies here. The character of Ghost Rider has been fairly male dominant, but Ghost Riders powers have never been limited to just one man; it's a power that can be transferred or bestowed (much like the Phoenix Force or the Power Cosmic).

In effect, Ghost Rider is just a title. Does anyone know if this new Spirit of Vengeance is even gonna call herself Ghost Rider?

That's my take on it anyway.

Just my opinion, but I think she should stay with the dead. Hell, I think alotta characters who died shoulda stayed dead or at least stay gone long enough for a sudden resurrection/resurgence to actually be an awesome return.

Captain America's death was a strong scene to anyone who didn't know of Marvel's constant returns. Many of us didn't feel anything; saying, "He'll be back" or "Yeah, like they're gonna kill off Cap for good".

Death needs to mean something in Marvel.

Long story short, Jean should stay dead.

Have they ever made a sort of "What If" Bruce Wayne's Batman was the killer type?

I think it would be interesting to see how Gotham would be if Bruce took a different path. Would Barbara still be paralyzed, how would he have handled Catwoman when they first met, what would have happened with Dick Grayson or Timothy Drake?

I'm not a big DC reader, so I don't know if they've tried something similar or not.

This is just my opinion, but I think some are reaching for sexism where there isn't any.

Why was it called X-Men? Because X-People or X-Persons just sound dumb? I dunno and I don't pretend to know.

And women definitely don't have sole shares in insanity in the marvel universe. I honestly think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't gone crazy or changed dramatically for some reason or no explanation at all.

Sometimes, insanity and different just make for an interesting story. If they didn't, we wouldn't have Ultimate, Xtreme and House of M would never of even been bothered with (regardless how ya felt about it).

Just my opinion of course.

IMO, they shouldn't have given her the costume; just have her wear plains clothes like Klark in Smallville to give it that touch of functionality in a superhero show.

I never watched Smallville much except towards the end and I liked how they kinda hinted at the costume And to be honest, I kinda liked the black outfit with the white S a bit more than the traditional Red, Blue and Yellow.

Even Green Arrow's outfit was impressive and it's the closest one to the comic version (except Dr. Fate... that had that dead on).

"An if I get a fix soon... I'll friggin die?"...

Shouldn't that be "And if I don't get a fix"?... I'm not really a grammar Nazi, it's just a tiny thing that my brain keeps coming back to. It's only a minor thing really, but I hope there aren't too many mistakes like that.

Not saying mistakes will make it a bad read, I just focus on little things that seem outta place; like realizing Whoopi Goldberg didn't have eyebrows in almost all of her movies or that Reba Mcentire has no upper lip. Once ya know it's there, ya can't help but notice it over and over.
