The thread title is asking what is good about SW. That's where the question is asked. It "outright" asks for reasons why people like SW. Pointing to stories and alternate things other than the movies can help answer that question.

I think you read to much into one little sentence that says they find it boring. Seems like you are just assuming the OP is dead set on that and there is no chance to convince him otherwise. I don't know to me it's not like he said "this garbage sucks and anyone who likes SW is a damn idiot". I say what does it hurt to offer suggestions?

IMO, Ccraft didn't need to flag the thread to begin with and was insulting by doing so. Again you say the thread is purposeless but that's just an opinion not a fact.

I don't see why this thread should be flagged. On the Wolverine forum there is a thread actually titled I Hate Wolverine which has been allowed to go on unlocked because it was under the guise that the OP was actually looking for things he could read to change his mind about the character.

This thread actually asks in the title for someone to convince them of what's is good about Star Wars. Instead of flagging them maybe point to something which could help them understand why people like SW.

For instance I'd say check out Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison. Good mini story I think anyone would enjoy whether they were a SW fan or not.

Ah, didn't realize because I read Flash in trade. So I'm only up to issue 25 in the current series. Looks like he takes over just after that.

Brett Booth will be a good artist for the Flash series. I'm glad Hitch is not doing JL.

By no means am I a Bendis hater. His run on DD is one of the best in comics history and I'll even defend his MK series. I don't read Avengers so I didn't experience his writing then but his time with the X-Men has been terrible. As a big X-Men reader I'm very happy to see his departure.

My daughter is 12 and knows more about comics/manga than many users here I'm sure.

Post count really doesn't mean anything but age isn't always a factor either.

@jestersmiles: Very cool. There's a member here who is the biggest SS fan and actually has that statue. He posted it and the rest of his collection in the "comic collection pic thread".

I'm very passionate about my favorite characters especially those in the top five.
