I think this is pretty cool for cosplayers. People who don't like or understand cosplay won't get it. I was honestly shocked to see how many comments were for this article because the CV community doesn't usually give much attention or love to cosplay. So I wasn't surprised to see the hater comments either.

They could have used better cosplayers/costumes for certain characters though. The ones that stood out as weakest to me are Cap. America and Daredevil. I've seen much much better cosplays for those two.

Most of my threads have gotten little response. Make a thread about Hellboy's latest book and nobody cares. Make a thread about Con's and Cosplay and nobody cares.

I am happy though about the great posts and pictures people have added to the Show us your Comic Shop thread. That's definitely my most famous and successful one for sure.

Maybe instead of spending less on the defense of their country they should cut out the 50 billion (33.7 for 2016) given to foreign aid each year. Seems silly to give so much aid to other places when parts of their own land is falling apart.

August I'll be meeting Basil Gogos. Basil is famous for his classic monster art and he's also well known for doing some artwork for the band Misfits. I'll be getting this misfits poster signed and cosplaying as the Misfit Fiend so I'm pretty psyched for this particular show. Hopefully I can get a commission as well but we'll see how that goes.

@ccraft: Slap Shot. The Hudsucker Proxy was a good film he was in as well.
