1.1 Splash Page

The newly armed Punisher-Moon Knight (will be referred to as Punisher-MK) standing in his solitary confinement cell. His outfit is the same, except for the Moon Knight cloak/cowl and cape he wears. He also has a white mask like the other Moon Knights, except his has a black skull logo, like the one he wears regularly, painted on.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Nut and Geb.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Egyptian Gods.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Geb is God of the Earth.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Nut is Goddess of the sky.

2.1

The inside of Riker’s. All the cells are opening at once.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Khonshu, Egyptian God of the Moon and vengeance.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Short while back, Khonshu saved my life, so I could continue my mission. In exchange, I have to kill these Gods.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Apparently that’s possible.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: So that’s something.

2.2

All the prisoners are walking out.

PRISONERS: Kill Khonshu.

PRISONERS: Find the Moon Knights.

PRISONERS: Kill Khonshu.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Apparently, the Egyptian Gods have a system where they take a human avatar on Earth. Saps who fit their profile the most.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: The way you kill one of them is easy. Take out the avatar, and the God will be vulnerable for a short time.

2.3

Punisher-MK on one knee, planting C4 on the door of his cell.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Nut and Geb decided they’d each take a couple dozen avatars.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Specific avatars, on the orders of their boss, Anubis.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Nut and Geb both chose half of Riker’s prisoner population.

2.4

One of the Riker’s prisoners, scouting the area among five of his fellow inmates. All of the prisoners’s eyes are glowing yellow.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: They’ve brainwashed them.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: I’m told the plan was to send the entire prisoner population on the city last night, at the new year. “The year of war”.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: But I fought BigBoss last night. And the aftermath caused a lot of mess.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Nut and Geb decided against attacking amidst the chaos.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: They’ve got some kind of honor code. They don’t attack any place that’s already burning. So Anubis told them to wait 24 hours, and that’s all they’d get before he got angry. So they agreed.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: This is where I come in.

3.2

A bunch of prisoners looking toward the dark hallway that leads to solitary confinement.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: I’m the ambush on their ambush.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: And while I kill Nut and Geb, Khonshu and his other soldiers will head over to Egypt, to kill Anubis. And who knows what other Gods.

3.3

Punisher-MK walking out of the hall, carrying a mini-gun, firing away.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Funny. Deadpool was right.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: I did get caught up in a real war again.

One of the prisoners jumping onto a wall, sticking there.

PRISONER: HSSSS

4.2

Punisher-MK looking up at him.

PUNISHER: You’re joking.

4.3

The prisoner jumping down toward Punisher-MK.

But Punisher-MK has let go of the mini-gun with one hand, and is holding up a pistol and pointing.

4.4

The prisoner, shot through the head.

4.5

The monitor in the hall from earlier, showing the Warden. His face is gone, replaced by a skull that’s got maggots writing in dirt in the eyesockets. He basically looks like a freshly dug up corpse’s face.

WARDEN-GEB: KILL HIM!

WARDEN-GEB: HE IS A SERVANT OF KHONSHU!

WARDEN-GEB: YOUR GUARDS ARE DEAD, THERE IS NOTHING TO HOLD YOU BACK FROM FREEDOM BUT HIM! HIM AND KHONSHU!

4.6

Punisher-MK facing toward the crowd of prisoners.

The prisoners are changing, they seem to be getting more feral, just like the wall-crawling one.

PUNISHER: You heard the man.

5.1

Marc Spector standing in a dirty, small restroom. He’s got the Moon Knight costume on, save for the mask and cowl.

5.2

Jake Moon Knight and Steven Moon Knight standing guard outside of the door. They’re inside a small chain store, like 7/11.

5.3

Marc looking into the mirror.

MARC: Why do you need me?

MARC: Why can’t you just leave me alone?

5.4

Khonshu’s hand on his shoulder.

KHONSHU: Forgive the cliché, but it’s been prophesized.

KHONSHU: No one can kill Anubis but you. He’s the one you hate the most.

MARC: Uh huh.

MARC: Who prophesized it?

KHONSHU: Thoth. Good friend of mine. God of writing. And he only writes down what he observes.

KHONSHU: He’s hard to miss, what with the big Ibis head.

Marc looking down at the mask. Khonshu leaning in over his shoulder.

MARC: You took everything…

KHONSHU: Don’t fool yourself. I gave you a second chance at life back in the tomb in Egypt, because I saw your potential. And I heard your name.

KHONSHU: Your rise as my avatar was destiny.

KHONSHU: Your fall, too.

5.6

Marc, glaring at the mask. But moving it toward his face.

MARC: So this entire time, I’ve been dead. My entire life since then was just a lie. Just something for you to take.

MARC: All for this “year of war” you wouldn’t shut up about when we walked out of the apartment.

MARC: All this time, you only ever saved me so I could kill someone for you. To win you your war.

Marc back in his Moon Knight mask, pulling the cowl over his head.

MOON KNIGHT: You made me think I was a priest.

MOON KNIGHT: But I never stopped being a mercenary.

MOON KNIGHT: Not for one day.

Moon Knight kicking the door so hard that it FLIES off the hinges.

MOON KNIGHT: Well, fine.

KHONSHU: That would be the Moon-based powers coming back.

7.2

Moon Knight walking through the trashed aisles, which apparently Steven and Jake went to town on.

MOON KNIGHT: Marc Spector’s been dead for a long time, so fine.

MOON KNIGHT: My wife—

MOON KNIGHT: Ex--

MOON KNIGHT: WHATEVER!

MOON KNIGHT: HATES MY GUTS!!!

7.3

Moon Knight kicking the glass through one of the doors open, completely unnecessarily, just because he’s angry.

MOON KNIGHT: FRIENDS, TOO!

MOON KNIGHT: EVERYONE! EVERYONE HATES ME!

7.4

Khonshu standing in front of the doors, looking back at Steven and Jake. They actually look intimidated.

KHONSHU: Come along, boys.

KHONSHU: There’s no need to fear. He’s just throwing a tantrum.

Moon Knight standing outside, his head turned back toward Khonshu.

MOON KNIGHT: Where are we headed?

Khonshu’s eyes.

KHONSHU: Where I found you.

KHONSHU: Where it all began.

Punisher-MK firing the mini-gun into the crowd of possessed inmates.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Wasn’t told they’d have powers.

8.2

One of the inmates jumps over the crowd, toward Punisher-MK.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Guess I should have assumed so.

8.3

Punisher-MK has dropped the mini-gun and is running to the left, a pistol in one hand, firing.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Khonshu’s half tactical genius, half idiot.

The possessed inmates that aren’t dead start running at Punisher-MK as a group.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Not even close to overwhelmed yet.

9.2

Punisher-MK with two pistols now, firing into the hoard that’s getting close.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: But keep shooting.

9.3

Punisher-MK punching an inmate in the jaw, the others are really close.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Keep fighting.

9.4

Punisher-MK has dropped the pistols, and is reaching for something on his back.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Because who knows…

9.5

Punisher-MK holding an uzi, spraying it into the crowd.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Who knows what they could turn into.

Punisher-MK glaring.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: They’re strong.

10.2

The crowd is still moving, they keep coming.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Now they’re getting harder to kill.

10.3

The uzi out of ammo.

SFX: CLIK CLIK CLIK

CAPTION: PUNISHER: An idea comes to mind. Cut to the middle of the crowd, then gun them down from inside.

Punisher-MK looking at his side.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: Never thought I’d have to use this.

11.1 Splash Page

Punisher-MK holding a machete, rushing into the crowd of possessed inmates. The inmates are noticeably growing larger, more muscular. A few are getting thinner, though. Thinner and taller.

CAPTION: PUNISHER: But they demand a personal touch.

12.1 Splash Page

A dark crypt like space, with a large circular table made of stone. Sitting around the table are several Gods.

Ra, who is in the shape of a man heavily wrapped in blankets, with his eyes peeking out. But the eyes are the eyes of a bird, and they glow orange.

Nut and Geb, who look like Siamese twins. Geb is the one made of solid mud, deformed and ugly. Nut is in the shape of a supermodel woman, but she’s clearly intangible, made out of pure air taking shape. Nut’s eyes glow green, and Geb’s eyes glow blue.

Set, who looks like a huge monster of a bodybuilder, with tan skin and clothing you’d find at a museum. Also his head is that of a demonic Doberman, dripping yellow drool like pus from his huge teeth. Set’s eyes glow red.

Ra is glaring at Nut and Geb.

CAPTION: FORMER TOMB OF KHONSHU

CAPTION: RA, GOD OF THE SUN

CAPTION: NUT, GODDESS OF THE SKY

CAPTION: GEB, GOD OF THE EARTH

CAPTION: SET, GOD OF THE DESERT, THE STORM, AND VIOLENCE

RA: This is YOUR fault!

GEB: Our fault?

RA: YES, DAMMIT!

RA: YOU’RE THE REASON THEY’RE NOT DEAD ALREADY!!!

NUT: Now, see here, you…you…

13.1

In the darkness behind Ra, a set of white eyes glow.

ANUBIS: Shut up, you f**king idiots.

ANUBIS: Or I’ll feed you to Ammit.

13.2

Anubis entering the light so we can see him, Ra stepping aside.

He’s basically a large anthropomorphic, black colored jackal, wearing a pharaoh’s clothing. There’s a sword in hilt on his side.

CAPTION: ANUBIS, FORMER GOD OF EMBALMING

SUB-CAPTION: CURRENT GOD OF DEATH

ANUBIS: Such pointless bickering… it’s why Bastet grew impatient and left, trying to kill Khonshu before us.

13.3

Anubis looking at the group.

ANUBIS: And we all remember how THAT turned out, don’t we?

13.4

Set, looking saddened.

SET: You didn’t have to mention her…

Anubis putting a hand on Set’s shoulder, barely managing it, given Set’s height.

ANUBIS: It’s alright, big guy.

ANUBIS: Remember, she died doing what she felt was right.

SET: Hngg.

Anubis looking at Nut and Geb.

ANUBIS: How is the agent of Khonshu fairing?

14.2

Geb looking frustrated, Nut trying to comfort him.

GEB: The possession has sunk in, and, the army he faces should become stronger soon…

NUT: We are trying our best. My possession should work in just a few moments.

NUT: Oh, Geb, darling. Yours were always easier.

GEB: Well, humans are already dirtbags. Heh.

NUT: Hee hee.

14.3

Ra, looking unamused.

RA: We’re ignoring the real issue here.

RA: They’re on their way. We all know it.

RA: We all FEEL it.

14.4

Anubis looking toward Ra.

ANUBIS: Let him come.

RA: What?

ANUBIS: Let. Him. Come.

ANUBIS: He’s outnumbered.

RA: Are you serious?

14.5

Anubis’s eyes.

ANUBIS: We have the God of the sun, the God of the desert and storm, Ammit the destroyer, and myself.

ANUBIS: Yes, I’m serious.

Nut and Geb looking toward Anubis.

NUT: Don’t forget us.

ANUBIS: Your efforts are concentrated elsewhere.

ANUBIS: But once you kill that pesky avatar…

ANUBIS: Then, you may participate.

15.2

Set looking down toward Anubis.

SET: Should I handle them first?

ANUBIS: Ha!

ANUBIS: Yes, that would be best.

ANUBIS: Soon, Khonshu will see the error of his ways.

15.3

Overhead view of the meeting. A large throne is behind where Ra was standing.

ANUBIS: As I crush his feathery little neck with my bare hands.

15.4

Thoth, the man with the head of an Ibis, writing down what he sees on scripture with a feather pen. He’s sitting on a ledge in the cave.

Thoth’s got cold, black eyes.

La Guardia airport, in a hallway leading to a set of terminals.

Marc, Jake, and Steven walking down the hall, each carrying only one bag of luggage.

Marc’s disguise has been changed, and now he looks like his regular old self.

Also they’re all wearing shades. Jake’s are brown, Steven’s are black, and Marc’s are red.

16.2

Khonshu is walking behind them.

KHONSHU: My, my, Marc. You look so much better without that disgusting red hair, and those nauseating green eyes.

MARC: Uh huh.

KHONSHU: How did we ever get past airport security, anyway?

16.3

Marc, looking really irritated and disgusted.

MARC: You made the nice woman checking our bag suicidal, to the point that she didn’t care.

MARC: Then you told her to go home and drown her new baby kitten as an offering to you.

16.4

Jake snickering. Steven smirking. Khonshu looking satisfied.

KHONSHU: Oh, that’s right.

KHONSHU: I did do that.

KHONSHU: Funny story, I hate cats.

MARC: Hi, I bought the flight?

ATTENDANT: Oh, Mr. Spector!

ATTENDANT: Nice to meet you, and the pilot’s in and waiting for you!

Jake, Steven, and Khonshu walking behind Marc into the gateway.

KHONSHU: This, boys, is why I love Mr. Spector.

KHONSHU: He’s got mad money.

STEVEN: I did too, once.

KHONSHU: And you got the nice suit I picked out for you.

STEVEN: That I did.

KHONSHU: And it looks glorious.

STEVEN: That it does.

The attendant, waving them off.

Her eyes are glowing red.

Jake, Steven, and Marc all sitting in different seats in first class. Khonshu is sitting next to Marc. Marc has the window seat.

JAKE: I never get tired of planes.

KHONSHU: I remember our first flight together.

JAKE: You do?

KHONSHU: Heh. Yup.

Marc looking out the window.

KHONSHU: You were TERRIFIED.

PILOT: We have just reached 20,000 feet!

PILOT: You are now free to move about the cabin and use electronic devices.
