I know he's supposed to be the bad guy, but I kind of feel sorry for Attuma, he's beaten not by Namor's greater strength and intelligence, but by his own inbred arrogance and male chauvinism. but for all his faults, he refuses to give up, so at least he's got the persistance to make up for his incompetance. Even if the only reasons are because he read some prophecy that says it'll happen and his ego keeps telling him that it's 100% true! Attuma is brutal, overconfidant and self-important, but that just seems to make him his OWN worst enemy. Like Dr. Doom he might very well prove to conquer even the strongest of enemies. But once he gets it into his head that he's unbeatable, it's game over. that's why it's almost nice to see him doing so well. Even if he had to get his head re-attached by Dr. Doom and be granted magical powers for it to happen.

@theik2: Well said! On another note, I really don't like it when She Hulk is drawn so skinny that it looks as if she can barely keep up with Spider-Man let alone super humans who are even stronger, come on artists! She's called "She Hulk for a REASON! Let her be big and buff! if it makes her seem less pretty, we'll get over it! If a powerful, intelligent lady with a decent sense of humour isn't good enough for you unless she's slim and dainty too you're just being greedy! Sure I'd be nervous around a woman who could take me in a fight but if I happened to be superhumanly strong too? I'd learn to live with that!

@MyraMyraMyra: Let's not forget that Rogue was once a member of the Brotherhood, and could easily be one again, not to mention if she ever DID, she'd not only be one of the X-Men's enemies, she'd be one of their deadliest yet!

@azmoday: I think Wolverine is MARVEL's ultimate pulp hero, he's got all the same courage, integrity, cunning, determination, fighting spirit, and consideration as Indiana Jones, Flash Gordon, John Carter, The Spirit, Buck Rodgers, Sherlock Holms, and yes, even BATMAN, yet has all the power and longevity to back these qualities up! That's why he's the best he is at what he does! Yes he's overexposed, but that' s the trouble with MARVEL! They get a character that people love and before you know it they're putting that character in EVERYTHING while they still can! And this usually just makes things WORSE...

@Rosencrantz&Guildenstern: How about giving Wolverine some throwing daggers, ones he made himself! They look like his claws if they had been removed from his hands! That way he can take down enemies who are too far away from him!

@Rosencrantz&Guildenstern: AWESOME idea! (I wish I'd thought of it!) They could incorporate that into a vido game and it would be up to YOU what needs healing right away and what can wait for later!

I like LOTS of things about Rogue, a particular one that comes to mind is the fact that even the the main reason Rogue changed her ways was because of circumstance, she did something positive with it. Instead of just using the X-Men to further her own ends, she became one of their most powerful and loyal members! This is the kind of character development that so many characters in ANY kind fiction seem to lack and it's one of the reasons they aren't anywhere near as popular as they COULD be. And it's one of the many reasons that Rogue is not just a character we care about, she's a character we want to root for!

Gambit and Rogue seem too made for each other to me, a rlationship between her and Wolverine would be awkward but HILARIOUS! Sure they'd still care about each other and all, but they're both WAY too stubborn to go without arguing after awhile.

@MsJustice: The only problem I have with Rogue now that she's lost her super strength and ability to fly is that it just seems like a step backwards, it's like some male chauvinist working at MARVEL didn't like having too many strong women on an X-Team and ordered her powers to be downgraded. PLUS, now all somebody has to do to get the best of her is put a bullet in her head or kick her off of a cliff!
