First of Chicago Bears, I love, but you really tick me off, almost on a weekly basis. I love the fact you literally want to fight the Bucs, it's funny, but it's costing you yardage. You blew it last week and you blew it this week, and everyone it to blame, except for Robbie Gould. Yes, I know he missed a field goal today against Tampa, but nobody's perfect, and this guy can't carry the team alone. He was 3/4, making it 6/7 this season. Our defense and S.T. scores more than our offense. The biggest problem is simple, the offensive line is breaking down and letting guys sneak in and sack Orton. STOP IT! If this happens again, I'll stop telling all my friends, "Bears! Superbowl! 2008!"

Anyone else pissed?

flattered? really? shouldn't you be offended?"
I used to be offended, but I look really young for my age, especially if I wear a long sleeve shirt that covers all the tattoos.

"Right after I turned 18, I visited my family outside of Toronto (Guelph to be exact) and I wanted cigarettes so bad. Sadly, it's 19 to buy smokes, as well as drink. I had to go in with my grandfather to buy me smokes, in which the salesperson told me I was too young. I told her I was from Chicago and I basically just wanted to get my smoke on. She said fine, mainly because my grandfather was buying the pack. She asked me, "What brand". All I could reply with was, "What do dudes smoke?" She had a dumb look on her face. I decided on Export "A", gold packs.... that story was longer than it should have been"
haha! your story starts making me think being 18 is just a way of making someone think their independent only for them to find out they still have no rights :P

but out in small town Manitoba, people don't even ask for identification to smoke, or to drink for that matter as far as I know..."
I now get flattered when someone asks me for I.D. for smokes...

On another note I was just dragged into a 30 minute conversation with a 70s-80s writer for Marvel comics, it's an odd story that I may or may not write a blog about....

I played Alto Sax back in junior high.
I've been playing bass for 12 years, guitar for 10, "singing" for 9, drums for 8, and piano for 4. I was involved in the Chicago punk rock scene for many years, but put down the instruments a couple years back to focus on writing/teaching full-time.

If you'd like I'll post some of my old band's pages on here.
