Marvel Mayhem: Guide to Characters

A quick synopsis of what the characters of Marvel Mayhem have done within the groups writing. Any new information will be updated for existing articles.

  • Arke

    Arke was one of two Olympian messenger gods despatched to retrieve a meteorite and return it to the Cyclops Forge. During this mission Arke was attacked and contaminated by a Symbiote, something that lowered her inhibitions.

    Arke's slaying of Deinara, wife of Hercules was one of the causes of the Titan's war with Olympus. During that time Arke became known as the Falcon of Acheron and was present in the final battle where she defeated the second wife of Hercules, Omphale, something that ended with the 'Falcons' defeat as she was tossed into Tartarus alongside the other defeated titans. The symbiote however, escaped and was bound in a canopic jar some time later by an unknown party.

    Arke's prison was rediscovered in Seattle and was the focus of the salvager called the Sea Urchin. The jar would later be taken to Tehran where it was destroyed allowing the Symbiote to escape and bind to the Thunderbolt Victoria Hand.

  • Atlas

    Atlas, during the Thunderbolts Original Deception would fight the Jester and his minions Orka, Firebrand, Monster, Black Racer and Hobgoblin. Some time after this he would fall into an Ionic Comma caused by an as yet unknown force. His current location and health is unknown.

  • Biohazard

    Biohazard was an old adversary of the Thunderbolts and was buried by Songbird and Abner Jenkins. Years later ULTIMATUM dug up the canister he was locked in and juiced up to aid their mission in Seattle. Flag Smasher would be in control of Biohazard, and his escort, sending him into a rampage that would cause massive damage and contamination to the city. The Thunderbolts would contain Biohazard by removing the gravatonic core that kept his body stable before funneling him into the burning Century Link Field Stadium. Once pinned inside the arena Biohazard sublimated into a gas form and was bottled by Songbird.

  • Black Widow

    The Black Widow would infiltrate the Hood's security group by posing as Madame Masque. She would later stage a break-in and clue Captain America to SHIELD's Operation Skeleton, an attempt to stop the Hood from aiding the ascension of Black Heart.

    In the future Black Widow would lead the Avengers although her self esteem had taken a knock after Sin threw acid on her face. She currently appears to be using Madame Masque's old face plate to hide her disfigurement from her team mates. On Avenger Day she discovered a plot by the Frightful Five to resurrect the Grim Reaper and led her team to stop the villains from completing the task.

  • Blue Streak

    Blue Streak was a former SHIELD agent but quickly turned his back to become a free lance villain. He was killed by Scourge and his head was sent to the Daily Globe Newspaper to get attention from the media and police.

  • Bulldozer

    Last Appearance: Mighty Thor #1

    Three Quarters of the Wrecking Crew; Bulldozer, Thunderball and Piledriver were seemingly murdered by Thor and then crucified to the side of a building prompting SHIELD to arrest the God of Thunder.

  • Bullseye

    Appearances: 6

    First Appearance: Bullseye #1

    Last Appearance: ---

    Bullseye was killed by Daredevil in retribution for blowing up a tenement block and was resurrected by Hand mystics under the control of the Kingpin. Shortly afterwards Bullseye would temporarily join forces with Lady Bullseye only to be betrayed by her and be held captive by the Kingpin's forces. Bullseye would escape after Moon Knight scouted the building after he and Typhoid Mary brutalised the villain.

    It was revealed later on that Bullseye was the avatar for the Beast of the Hand, something that convinced him to aim higher and take over New York's Criminal Underworld. Years later Bullseye would gather remnants of the Worthy's power and the AIM Commander Alister Smythe to support his campaign.

  • Buzz-Saw

    First Appearance: Thunderbolts #1

    Last Appearance: ---

    Buzz-Saw organised a job after being hired by Moonstone to steal a statuette holding a Kree Data Crystal. Buzz-Saw and the other Power Tools; Jackhammer, Drill and Vice would end up fighting the Thunderbolts before escaping empty handed. Later the next day the Power Tools tried again to obtain their bounty and would face the Thunderbolts again and in the fight Buzz-Saw lost a hand before escaping alone. Buzz-Saw would return this time as a member of the Masters of Evil in the Century Link Field Siege.

    Buzz-Saw and Whiplash would be deployed to a hidden SHIELD facility and attacked Orka and MACH IV before stealing spent rounds that would later be used to implement Abner Jenkins for the murder of Firebrand.

  • Cadaver

    Cody Webster AKA Cadaver was one of the individuals summoned by Dr. Strange (secretly the demon Mephisto in disguise) to break up a pirate DVD smuggling operation ran by a man who had made a deal with the devil and discovered a loop hole to escape his soul's eternal damnation.

    Transported to Mexico alongside Free Spirit, Bengal and Polaris, Cadaver fought against Salamander before literally being blown away by Scalphunter. It was as his flight terminated that he witnessed Mephisto telling the Cartel Boss he had failed. Cadaver's appearance caused the Cartel Boss to enter cardiac arrest and despite being given CPR he expired and his soul was taken by Mephisto.

    After the team disbanded Cadaver went back to his work as a gravedigger but was once again summoned, this time by the real Dr. Strange. He would later be part of the team that entered Mephisto's home dimension and aided in it's partial destruction to get Mephisto's attention, with the demon referring to him as ' the discarded weapon of Agamotto' and that he should be honoured to receive any attention be it good or bad. His Sword of Bone would later be used to temporarily despatch Mephisto allowing the Secret Defenders to complete their mission.

  • Chemistro

    Chemistro would be hired by Eric O'Grady to aid in a series of high rise robberies. Using his alchemy pistol Chemistro was able to enter the apartments of Seattle's rich and powerful without any trace. The group, also consisting of Antman, Dragonfly and the Skeleton Ki were dubbed the High Rollers by the Media. Eventually the Thunderbolts Meteorite and Blizzard would discover the gang and after a brief skirmish all the criminals save O'Grady were arrested.

    Later it appeared as if Chemistro had escaped as he threatened O'Grady only to be defeated again by Blizzard. In reality the Chemistro he defeated was Abner Jenkins in disguise in an attempt to stare O'Grady straight.

  • Cobalt Man

    Cobalt Man alongside Speedfreak, Nitro and Coldheart would hide from the authorities in Stamford Connecticut. Alas they would gain the attention of the New Warriors and their accompanying camera crew hired to film their heroic exploits.

    Later the Cobalt Man would become a member of Moonstone's Masters of Evil and was sent alongside Firebrand, Whiplash and Zaran the Weapons Master to find the Kree Data Crystal that the Power Tools failed to secure. The Masters clashed with the Thunderbolts and during the fight the Cobalt Man detonated a series of makeshift bombs before escaping. He would later attack the Seattle Opera House and would fight the Thunderbolts. If it wasn't for the arrival of the Radioactive Man he would likely have irradiated the entire city. After his arrest he was transfered to the super max prison known as the Cube.

  • Commander Kraken

    Commander Kraken was a victim of the Scourge of the Underworld, with the unfortunate villain being shot as he disembarked from a ferry just hours after being released on parole.

    In 2023 a new Commander Kraken escaped from the Raft and fought the Avenger known as Poseidon. It is unknown what if any relationship he has with the individual of the same name who was murdered in 2013.

  • Confessor

    First Appearance: Thunderbolts #19A (Confessor Skrull)

    Last Appearance: ---

    The Confessor was an ex KGB agent who was obsessed with religious icons. Sometime before the change in Government the real Confessor was replaced by a Skrull tasked to infiltrate the Russian Federation's Security Forces but was ultimately fired.

    Years later he would appear in Seattle for an unknown reason and abduct several refugees to lure out the Thunderbolts. Ultimately he was arrested and became the first prisoner to be incarcerated in the super-max prison under the Living Fortress known as the Labyrinth.

  • Corrupter

    Jackson Day AKA the Corrupter was hired by Moonstone to plant evidence stolen by Whiplash and Buzzsaw to frame MACH IV for the murder of Firebrand. Sneaking onto the crime scene under the cover of a genetic camouflage generator the Corrupter dropped the rounds and then started bottling his sweat and distributing it to the jury, judge and security so he could skew the results.

    It would take an assassination attempt by Crossfire for MACH IV, Victoria Hand and She Hulk to realise who was behind the strange behaviour in the courtroom but not before She Hulk drank a bottle of corrupted water. After being discovered the Corrupter ran but was captured by Victoria Hand as he tried to hijack a SHIELD Shuttle. Ratting out his employer the Corrupter would fall victim to his own powers when it was revealed that Crossfire had been incarcerated inside and had escaped to complete his contract.

  • DOA

    DOA is Emplate's coachman and possibly his only real friend. Emplate sent DOA to investigate Mattock Military Solutions to give the thralls a clean entrance and exit into the Seattle quarantine zone. DOA would later fight Blink, Penance and Richard Cale alongside the other Hellions before Songbird and Cale were able to temporarily injure Emplate so the quartet could escape. DOA hasn't been seen since Emplate's lighthouse exploded and his current location is unknown.

  • Doombot

    First Appearance: Avengers AI #1

    Last Appearance: ---

    Doombot was a repurposed AI that Hank Pym thought would be useful in the fight against Ultron. As expected the Doombot had a highly confrontational nature and enjoyed fighting the automated forces that Ultron had assembled into a robot army. This was evident when Jim Hammond AKA the Human Torch mistook Doombot for the real Latvarian Despot and attacked him believing him to be a danger. Later Doombot and the other Avengers AI would be shown their new base of operation where it was discovered that Doombot was still on probation. He would later be momentarily taken over by Ultron to mock Jim Hammond.

  • Dragon Man

    The Dragon Man android was captured and given to Hank Pym who used the cybernetic neural network to create a new AI known as Ultron. Dragon Man would later be recovered by the Vision and was sent forward in time alongside Machine Man and a rouge Doombot. The group fought some of Ultron's troopers and corrupted sentinels.

  • Dreadknight

    Appearances: 4

    First Appearance: Jester's 11 #9 Shatterpoint

    Last Appearance: ---

    Bram Velsing AKA the Dreadknight would get the call to arms when Emplate was in Latvaria, his thralls spreading through the local mutant population. Velsing would follow Viktor Von Doom into battle but would become disenchanted when Doom burnt unaffected mutants including Velsing's wife. For his disobedience Velsing would be mutilated by Doom and exiled from Latvaria.

    At some point the Dreadknight worked with Oriole and the later brought him in to complete the Jester's sonic apparatus and to heal Overrider of his infliction. The Dreadknight succeeded in awakening Overrider and reducing the desire for mutant bone marrow thanks to cybernetic inhibitors. The Dreadknight didn't take part in the Gauntlet but did stay when Code Blue came to arrest the Jester. After X-Ray exploded the Dreadknight helped Lt Stone escape the collapsed building before surrendering to the authorities.

    The Dreadknight would resurface later as a member of the Frightful Five and attacked the Black Knight's Men at Arms. The Dreadknight defeated his rival and took his ebony blade before escaping with 8-Ball, Hooded Haunt, Overrider and Diamondback. The five would later attempt to resurrect the Grim Reaper from the Avenger's Cemetery in Louisiana.

  • Egghead I

    Last Appearance: ---

    Elias Starr was a member of the Intelligencia who worked alongside the Wizard. He apparently killed the Inhuman Medusa in front of her husband Black Bolt and then whipped his memory. Some time later Elias would reprogramme the cybentic life form who also used the name Egghead so he could remotely control him and assassinate Hank Pym.

  • Egghead II

    Egghead was a synthetic life-form who served with the Young Masters of Evil and was caught by Elias Starr the original Egghead. Elias reprogrammed Egghead so that he could remotely take control of the android. The first mission that Egghead was sent on was an assassination attempt on Hank Pym.

    Egghead would later ambush Hank Pym and almost bury him alive before momentarily fighting his reprogramming. Eventually Elias Starr regained control and mocked Hank Pym before sending a focused mental pulse through the android into his enemies mind causing him to collapse.

  • Emplate

    First Appearance: Learning Generation X #1

    Emplate was a mutant whose power consisted of absorbing of abilities through the supping of bone marrow. Through this method he can turn others into zombified minions. It is already known that he visited London, Latvaria and Moscow and resulted in the culling and enslaving of hundreds of mutants. Most were victims as he chased down Penance, a meal he had stockpiled for lean times in the future.

    When Penance found sanctuary Emplate moved his lighthouse close to the X-Mansion in Westchester and found a collaborator to be his eyes and ears within the school in the form of Paige Guthrie AKA Husk. Biding his time Emplate learnt that Emma Frost was heading to Seattle and sent advanced units to the city to turn the mutant population while he gathered specific minions. He was also careful to instruct his thralls that Penance and Richard Cale were not to be killed until he could claim them.

    Emplate briefly headed to New York and attacked Overrider to gain his technopathic abilities for later use although his victim was able to overload his circulatory system and provide negative feedback to stop his attacker from feeding on him. Emplate would later use these abilities to control the MACH IV Armour so he could defend himself when he had to go back to the hell dimension he was forced into when he didn't feed.

    Emplate would ambush Penance, Blink and Richard along with his hellions in an attempt to capture them but was thwarted first by Songbird and then when Richard blew a hole in the monster's hands using a solid sound blast. Emplate would later get another chance at claiming Richard when Husk lured him away but was thwarted again this time by Blink.

    Retreating to his lighthouse Emplate would later face Richard Cale, Songbird, Radioactive Man and his own sister Monet using the MACH IV armour. Richard used Emplate's own powers against him to release Abner Jenkins shortly before the suit's energy core detonated and destroyed a good section of the lighthouse.

  • Eric O'Grady

    Eric O'Grady would either steal or find a copy of Hank Pym's technology and manage to understand how it worked. Deciding to use the device for his own personal gain he would gather Chemistro, Dragonfly and the Skeleton Ki together in a group known as the High Rollers by the Media.

    The team would have several successful raids before the Thunderbolts Meteorite and Blizzard investigated and later caught O'Grady's compatriots after he disrupted Chemistro's attempt to execute the pair. Blizzard would later catch up with O'Grady and talk him into a more legal profession shortly before SHIELD arrived to arrest Abner Jenkins.

  • Falcon

    First Appearance: Avengers #1

    Sam Wilson AKA the Falcon would be hired by SHIELD to keep an eye on a Stark Tech Warehouse after the Black Widow tipped them off about a raid planned by Madame Masque and the Mauler. During the fight Sam's safety was threatened by Masque and ultimately was used by the villains to escape. He would later help Stingray sink Man 'O War and join the Avengers effort to stop the Hood from raising Blackheart.

    The Falcon would be a member of the Avenger's ten years later and apparently was dating Yellow Jacket. That said he was a different man, physically haunted by the deaths of Iron Man and Captain America as well as his pet falcon Redwing.

  • Firebrand

    First Appearance: Thunderbolts #2

    Last Appearance: Scourge #6

    Gary Gilbert AKA Firebrand would join Team Carnival during the Thunderbolt's original deception and would be quickly taken down by Songbird and Citizen V.

    He would later join Moonstone's Masters of Evil and was sent along with Zaran, Whiplash and the Cobalt Man to find the Kree Data Crystal that the Power Tools failed to find. The Masters found opposition in the form of the Thunderbolts and ultimately escaped before reappearing in the Century Field Siege. Once again the Masters escaped and Firebrand went to his family home in San Diego where he was targeted by Scourge. His mantle would be quickly taken up by Russ Braxton.

  • Fixer

    Appearances: 3

    First Appearance: Jester's 11 #2 - Fixing the Odds

    Last Appearance: Jester's 11#3 Twenty One, Dealer Loses

    During the original facade Fixer would face Monster, a member of Team Carnival, who used the Thunderbolts fear to neutralise him as well as revealing that he had taken naked pictures of a birth mark on Moonstone's butt while she was sleeping.

    Fixer would later inherit a SHIELD weapons dump and sell faulty radiation tagged equipment. He met his match with Jester and his crew but ultimately his duplicates took most of the damage. Once the crew had left Fixer was ambushed from behind and had his neck snapped by Smuggler.

    Fixer's corpse was later on display alongside Harrier's when the Thunderbolts stumbled into Smuggler's trap some time later.

  • Flag Smasher

    First Appearance: Thunderbolts #14

    Flag Smasher was the leader of ULTIMATUM and lead an attack against Seattle for an unknown reason. His force was well equipped and Flag Smasher himself shuttled Biohazard to the Capitol building ready to be assembled so the two of them could destroy the city. Mounted on the back of the toxic terror Flag Smasher would be unhorsed when Victoria Hand crashed a shuttle into Biohazard. Flag Smasher would prove he was a competent fighter and defeated She Hulk and the Thunderbolts before Orka angrily defeated him as he attempted to kill his teammates.

    Flag Smasher would later escape from custody alongside Stag Beetle and Headhunter when Litterbug ripped open the carriage on orders of Emplate to claim Sirocco. He would later resurface alongside ULTIMATUM while he was growing an army of Piranha spawn for his employer Baron Helmut Zemo.

  • The Fly

    Richard Deacon AKA the Fly was the first victim of the Scourge of the Underworld that the NYPD are aware of.

  • Flying Tiger

    Appearances: 2

    First Appearance: Avengers #4

    Last Appearance: Avengers #5

    Flying Tiger was a member of the Hood's mercenary gang alongside criminals such as Warrior Woman, Absorbing Man and Whirlwind to protect a dig site in Copp's Cemetery. Flying Tiger aided in the destruction of the Avenger's Quinn Jet and knocked Captain America out of the plane as they discussed their past in the Invaders. This fight would be the Tiger's last as he fell in the pit and was attacked by demons who used his bones to bring Blackheart to the mortal plane.

  • Free Spirit

    First Appearance: Secret Defenders #1

    Cathy Webster AKA Free Spirit was a protƩgƩ of Captain America and would be summoned by Doctor Strange (Actually the demon Mephistopheles in disguise) to dismantle a DVD smuggling ring run by a man who owed his soul to the devil.

    Transported to Mexico alongside Bengal, Polaris and Cadaver, Free Spirit would end up fighting both Salamander and Machete before the later surrendered giving Polaris the breathing space to destroy the stockpiled DVDs. After finishing the mission Cathy returned to Lebanon, Indiana where the real Doctor Strange appeared to regather the group that had been sent to Mexico.

    Later the Secret Defenders took the fight to Mephisto's home dimension and lured the devil himself out into the open. Mephisto explained that he had chosen Cathy because she had been forgotten and had too much anger in her soul shortly before being temporarily despatched by Cadaver's Sword of Bone. Before she left Cathy punched Doctor Strange and told him to get his house in order before the team returned to their own world.

  • Gamecock

    Gamecock was hired to support a Mandipoorian Terror Attack and guarded the approach to the museum where Headhunter was holding Meteorite for ransom. Blackheath fought him and was surprised to find that his foe was faster and stronger and had better weapons but in the end got hit by a truck. He was later taken by prison train to the Vault.

  • Gladiator

    Appearances: 5

    First Appearance: Astonishing X-Men #5

    Last Appearance: ---

    Gladiator was despatched by Lilandra to return Kitty Price to the X-Men after she was rescued from a Breakworld Bullet. When he reached Earth, Gladiator demonstrated his power by easily defeating Krunn before arresting him in the name of the Shi'ar Empire. He would later mock Krunn while the villain was incarcerated moments before he started to plan his escape. After Krunn escaped the Gladiator would announce Lilandra as the X-Men were brought to capture a pair of deadly intergalactic fugitives.

    Gladiator would participate in Krunn's second arrest and would face the Power Lord again. This time the battle had a different outcome with Krunn utilising Gladiators need for self worth to weaken and then defeat his powerful foe shortly before his own defeat at the hands of the X-Men.

  • Hazmat

    First Appearance: Avengers Academy #1

    Last Appearance: ---

    Jennifer Takada AKA Hazmat was assessed by Hank Pym on her performance when fighting a hard light simulation of Norman Osborne. While she defeated Norman her tutors were worried by her aggression in the fight but still enrolled her into the Academy. On her first mission Hazmat along with Veil and Striker were attacked by the adult Reptil and quickly subdued him.

    Later when the Academy was attacked by an enhanced Titania and her husband the Absorbing Man, Hazmat chased after Jeremy Briggs and witnessed the detonation of a bomb in downtown New York. Hazmat survived but was taken prisoner by Briggs. Sometime later she was rescued by the Academy Resistance which at the time composed of Quake, Nikki, Ravonna and the Two Gun Kid.

  • Hobgoblin*

    Appearances: 3

    First Appearance: Spiderman #1

    Last Appearance: ---

    One of the Hobgoblins would join Team Carnival during the Thunderbolt's original deception alongside the Jester, Black Racer, Monster, Orka and Firebrand. He proved to be a vital combatant and took down both Atlas and MACH I before his glider exploded resulting in his incarceration in the Raft.

    The Hobgoblin would later join forces with Jack O'Lantern, Rapido and Shocker to bring in Spiderman for their employer Mr Hyde and a cell of AIM scientists. After capturing Spiderman the four villains were thrown out by Hyde and took their money to the Bar with No Name. Hobgoblin would later prevent Shocker from killing Jack O'Lantern for his cut.

    *The actual identities of the Hobgoblins seen may be different to each other but until evidence to the contrary is provided I will assume they are the same character.

  • The Hood

    First Appearance: Avengers #4

    Last Appearance: ---

    Parker Robbins was arrested prior to the West Coast Avengers alongside Chemistro and Madame Masque. He wouldn't stay in prison long however, Robbins was hired by an unknown figure to raise Blackheart to the mortal plane. Robbins gathered several criminals to act as security for the ritual which would be interrupted by the Avengers but ultimately prove successful.

    The Hood is also believed to have supplied the power boosting narcotics Kick and MGH to Nitro which enabled the villain to decimate the city of Stamford.

  • Hooded Haunt

    Appearances: 7

    First Appearance: Jester's 11 #6 - The Great Vibranium Theft

    Last Appearance: ---

    The Hooded Haunt was hired by Klaw as one of his replacement 11 and was sent into the Wakandan Consulate in advance to kill all the guards, which she did by consuming their souls. Later she and Voortrekker would look for Drill and discovered that he had been murdered. Following a bloody trail the pair encountered Satana who had been birthed from Drill's corpse. The Haunt would later fight and then behead Satana at the cost of Voortrekker's life.

    The Haunt survived the consulate collapse and would join the Jester's 11 and even offering to read his fortune revealing that he would be betrayed. In the end the whole gang, the Haunt included, would turn on the Jester and try to kill him only to be defeated one by one. As Code Blue arrived the Hooded Haunt escaped and used 8-Ball's raft to implement her own plan to summon the Celtic God Balor but was thwarted by Snake Marston and the detonation of the barge.

    The Hooded Haunt, now calling herself Omen, would join and empower a new Frightful Five consisting of 8-Ball, Diamondback, Overrider, the Dreadknight and herself. Together they plan to raise the corpse of long time Avengers foe the Grim Reaper.

    Howard quit his job at ARMOUR in the hopes of living a normal life and got a job as a New York taxi driver. One day when he was stuck in traffic Howard came across a mugging and reluctantly decided to help the victim. This proved to be a bad move for the Duck when one of the muggers shot him twice in the chest. Fate decided to intervene however, when Howard's older self intervened to secure the time line before getting in young Howard's car stating that the time line was still fragile. After picking up Howard's girlfriend the trio went to Ma and Pa's Pancake House while Dr. Bong ransacked the Duck's apartment.

    Paige Guthrie's powers first activated in her teens and resulted in her murdering the man who was raping her at the time. Deciding to hide the past Paige joined the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning but in the end her secret was discovered and then used against her by Emplate, forcing her to become his mole in Generation X.

    During a training exercise Husk alongside Monet managed to evade capture from the others and was commended for her skill by Yvette. She would later inform Emplate that the team was heading to aid in the refuge camps in Seattle. On the way to the camps she reassured Penance that Emplate couldn't track them all the while knowing this to be a lie. After a quick skirmish with some local mutants turned Thralls she covertly left the group to lure Yvette away.

    Unfortunately it was Richard Cale not Yvette that pursued but Paige was able to get the drop on him before locking his powers for Emplate. Ultimately Richard escaped with the aid of Songbird and Blink causing Emplate to convert Husk into a Thrall now her allegiance to him was discovered. She would later attempt to stall Richard and his strike team's assault on Emplate's Lighthouse only to receive a disfiguring burn to the face at the hands of the Radioactive Man. Her survival after the destruction of the lighthouse is currently unconfirmed.

  • Jack Oā€™Lantern

    Jack Oā€™Lantern was among the mercenaries hired by Alistair Smythe and Mr Hyde to track down and capture Spiderman. Alongside Shocker, Hobgoblin and Rapido; Jack captured the wall crawling menace and ferried him back to a secret AIM base. After getting thrown out by Hyde, after getting paid, the four goons went to the Bar with No Name were Jack mentioned their big payout. At this point, infuriated with Jackā€™s naivety, Shocker attempted to kill him only to be talked down by Rapido and Hobgoblin. Deciding to cut his losses Jack Oā€™Lantern retreated only to spill a drink on notorious mobster Tombstone. His current location and condition are unknown.

  • Jackhammer

    Jackhammer and the rest of the Power Tools; Drill, Vice and Buzzsaw, burnt down Melvin Potters costume shop in New York before being hired by Zaran the Weapons Master to steal a Kree Data Crystal in Seattle. The Power Tools raided an armoured car but were ultimately thwarted by Songbird, MACH IV and Blizzard but escaped thanks to their teleportation triggers.

    Continuing to hunt for the crystal the Power Tools found the crystal but ended up fighting the Thunderbolts again along with Victoria Hand and Orka. MACH IV was able to jam the Tools triggers before Buzz-Saw randomly scrambled his device and escaped leaving Jackhammer and the others to take the fall, with all three of them being incarcerated in the Vault.

    Jubilee was at one point a mutant infected by the vampire virus but was rescued before she was overcome by blood lust. The vampire Jubilee would be hired by Dark Beast to join his X-Force alongside Domino and Deadpool to capture Venom. During the mission Deadpool tried to hit on her but she rejected him. After catching the Symbiote the team was deployed on a mission where Dark Beast unveiled their new transport the Nightingale. During the mission (for unknown reasons) the team drifted apart with Jubilee making her way to the new X-Academy

    Another Jubilee was found by Emma Frost in Seattle and was potentially responsible for the death of Murmur in Seattle. Taking the girl known as Abi with them the students discovered that she had a latent immunity to psychic abilities. After revealing she was from another dimension the academy was attacked by an intruder who was revealed to be the vampiric Jubilee. Abi revealed to her other self that she had been a slave to Mojo and that her former master was skilled at killing vampires.

    Justice and his girlfriend Firestar were offered places on a New Warriors team alongside Night Thrasher, Goliath and Prodigy to keep an eye on Dornell Talyorā€™s increasingly unhealthy obsession with the forces behind the destruction of Stamford. Justice would question Night Thrasher on his acquisitions and how he survived Nitroā€™s attack. Vance and the others would have to cut the reunion short when Mr. Doll turned up hoping to impress Madame Masque and the Hood by capturing Technavore. The AIM creation ultimately proved to be too powerful for both Doll and the New Warriors and Dornell ordered a retreat and was later replaced as team leader by Miriam Sharpe.

    Kitty Pryde AKA Shadowcat was at one point in the past locked in a Breakworld bullet and fired into open space and subsequently forgotten about. Sometime later the bullet was recovered by Empress Lilandra of the Shi'at Empire and Kitty was released from her prison. After she had recovered from her injuries Gladiator brought her back to Earth for a tearful reunion with her beloved; Colossus.

    Their time to relax was cut short when the X-Men headed for Seattle only to get abducted by the Shi'ar to deal with the Breakworld criminal Kruun. Shadowcat would take part in the battle against Kruun but ultimately like the rest she was no match for the alien warlord. Later she would fight the Skrull criminal Zargot but ultimately the alien escaped to Earth.

  • Kraven the Hunter

    Kraven would attract the attention of both Deadpool and the Punisher for the theft of several big cats and the abduction of several people. The Punisher would follow the trail of the Hunter's henchmen before engaging in a gun battle with Kraven. After Frank drew first blood Kraven revealed a nightmare hybrid created from the stolen animals and abducted people.

    Alas the hybrid was no match for the Punisher and was despatched swiftly with it's master following suite. Before taking his last breath Kraven promised that death would not stop him from hunting Frank Castle and finish the man responsible for thwarting his plans.

  • Kruun

    After being humiliated by Colossus, Kruun of the Breakworld sought to regain his honour by destroying the X-Men. Landing in New York, Kruun started cutting a bloody swathe through local law enforcement and even killed Daniel Fielstein and crippled Majowski before the X-Men arrived. After a quick skirmish where Kruun seemed to have the advantage against each member Storm summoned a gust of wind and threw him out of the city. Kruun would later go another round with Colossus but was ultimately arrested by Gladiator of the Shi'ar Empire.

    That should have been the end of it but Kruun was ready with a plan to escape. With the help of a Skrull prisoner named Zargot, Kruun escaped onto a penal prison after murdering a unit of Imperial Guardsmen. Making an agreement with Zargot, Kruun would become the Skrull's agent of vengeance and was given new robotic arms which he demonstrated by murdering more Shi'ar guards. Due to the Breakworlder's new power Liandra teleported the X-Men to her Space Station as the mutants headed for Seattle.

    Kruun would also arrive at the Station by breaching the hull from the outer hull before assaulting the gathered X-Men and Imperial Guard. With the technology Zargot had provided him Kruun easily managed to hold his own against the warriors arrayed against him. Kruun was even able to take down The Gladiator by erroding his self worth making him an easy target. Eventually it was Zargot not the X-Men who took down Kruun using a bomb to rip open the station. Kruun's body was not discovered in the resulting debris field from the explosion which might suggest that the vengeful Breakworlder could still be alive.

    Lady Bullseye was among the security sent after Bullseye after the Kingpin resurrected him only for the assassin to turn on him. After their first meeting she decided to aid her former saviour and aid in him in his mission to kill the Kingpin. Her true loyalties would reveal themselves later as she double crossed Bullseye before she and Typhoid Mary locked him in a cell within Fisk Tower.

  • Living Laser

    Living Laser would be hired by The Hood alongside other criminals such as the Warrior Woman, Madame Masque and Flying Tiger to aid in the defence of the site where Blackheart was going to ascend to the mortal plane. The Laser was concerned about the large number of demons that were attempting to escape alongside Blackheart.

    When the Avengers attacked the dig-site the Living Laser brought down the Quinn Jet before mocking the heroes. His jubilant mood would be quashed seconds later as Horus homed in on the illumination and shattered him as he arrived.

  • Lockjaw

    Lockjaw was an inhuman who was rescued alongside Triton by Hercules when the Wizard and an army of Vision Replicates attacked Atilan. Hercules would find sanctuary with the West Coast Avengers and after some rest Lockjaw would recover. He would later teleport the team to locations attacked around the globe by various super criminals.

    Maria Hill is the current Director of SHIELD and it's sub divisions. After the crucifixion of three quarters of the Wrecking Crew she ordered Thor's arrest. Later she considered disbanding the Avengers and was secretly running Operation Skeleton in an attempt to prevent Blackheart from escaping into the mortal realm as well as proving that SHIELD could handle threats without the aid of super human assets.

    The Mauler was a mercenary hired by the Hood to steal some Stark tech alongside Madame Masque. They both encountered Captain America and Iron Man and were able to escape after they threatened one of Stark's employees. He would later prepare the area around Copp's Cemetery alongside figures such as the Absorbing Man, Living Laser and Constricter for Blackheart's ascension into the mortal plane. As the Avengers attempted to stop the criminals from raising Black Heart the Mauler was shorted out accidentally by the Constrictor.

    Mephisto (in the guise of Doctor Strange) appeared before Cadaver, Bengal, Free Spirit and Polaris and sent them on a mission to take down a DVD smuggling ring run by a man who was working to pay off the debt he owed the devil. Despite the man's best efforts he would later go into cardiac arrest and die, his soul being claimed by Mephisto.

    After talking to the real Doctor Strange the Secret Defenders learn the real power behind their mission to Mexico. Entering Mephisto's realm the team caused enough damage to entice the devil out into the open and was shocked to learn that he planned to use them as his personal hit squad. As they attempted to quell the demon Bengal used Cadaver's Sword of Bone to threaten Mephisto into releasing his son before they left leaving the Prince of Lies to use his plan B and form a new death squad; the Secret Avengers.

  • Molly Von Richthofen

    Molly Von Richtofen was assigned to the Scourge of the Underworld case shortly after Letha was killed by Scourge, her appearance resulting in Dallas Riorden seeing the first image of the cape killer. Molly would later be made Dallas's partner and both went to Carne Festa and insulted the Kingpin before determining that Judge John Chalmers was the only thing the victims had in common.

    When Dallas was called to inspect the Firebrand murder in San Diego, Molly tailed Chalmers and discovered that he wasn't the killer when Scourge murdered Commander Kraken. After discussing the arrest of Thunderclap Dallas and Molly almost ran down Hammerhead but ultimately braked to avoid stirring the wrath of the Kingpin.

    Relations became strained when both women thought the other was Scourge after discussing Molly's past links with the Punisher. Molly would eventually start working solo when Dallas was demoted to uniform work.

    Molly would return to the Organised Crime Unit before being called out to access a captured super criminal known as the Hummingbird.

  • Mr. Hyde

    Mr Hyde was hired by Alister Smythe to aid him as a technician to help him experiment on Spiderman. In turn Hyde hired Shocker, Rapido, Jack O'Lantern and the Hobgoblin to capture the specimen. Hyde would later tenderise Spiderman before starting the analysis of the wall crawler before almost killing an AIM technician simply because he was angry. Hyde would later start hunting down Spiderman to get a blood sample so that he and the Spider Slayer to continue their experiment on him and their other captives.

    Night Thrasher and the rest of the New Warriors cornered a quartet of wanted felons in Stamford, Connecticut. Coldheart, Speed Freak and Cobalt Man were easily captured but Nitro escaped and destroyed the entire city.

    Years later Night Thrasher was a broken man who practically lived in the seedy bars in downtown New York. After one day of getting drunk Night Thrasher beat a US Senator who approved Super Human Registration. After passing out Night Thrasher was taken to the Raft where he was taken by Tony Stark to interrogate Nitro. After hours of interrogation Night Thrasher got a name and to his surprise a replacement team of New Warriors.

    Night Thrasher would go to confer about his situation with Justice and Firestar before being called to stop an attack by Mr. Doll and Technovore in Times Square.

  • Oort the Living Comet

    Oort the Living Comet was a new member of the Masters of Evil and the replacement for deceased member Firebrand. Along with Whiplash and Gauntlet he went out to Iran to receive the second Kree Data Crystal. While there the trio met the Thunderbolts Blackheath and Victoria Hand with the later teasing him over his obscurity and how the Masters must be desperate to hire him. Oort ignored her taunts and located the crystal just as the Arke Symbiote bonded with Victoria. The two fought and in the end Arke was victorious although both Oort and Whiplash escaped before she could arrest them.

  • Oriole

    Kasey Holland AKA Oriole was killed by the Soldiers of Misfortune before being partially resurrected by Black Talon. Heading back to the States he was hired by the Jester and covered 8-Ball and Diamondback as they escaped, shooting down an Apache Helicopter.

    Before the next mission Oriole discussed dating Diamondback with Drill, 8-Ball and Snake Marston unaware that 8-Ball was engaged to his crush. At a secret SHIELD warehouse Oriole discovered that he was potentially un-killable and that his blood was corrosive to human flesh. This made Oriole curious about his body and asked X-Ray to check his energy readings out only to find no abnormalities with his patient.

    Oriole sided with Klaw and was rebuffed by Lodestone as they broke into the Vault. Later X-Ray and Volcana detonated the Vibranium Cache but Oriole survived proving his theory of being un-killable. Surviving Oriole rejoined the Jester's Crew and found evidence of Speed Demon's accident and brought in the Dreadknight to finish working on the Jester's Project.

    Like the rest of the crew Oriole turned on the Jester and attacked him. Oriole was the last member to tackle their former leader in the Gauntlet but ultimately failed. After regenerating Oriole stayed to defend Klaw alongside Vapour and the Dreadknight. Oriole fought Code Blue units before escaping only to face Dallas Rhioden, Oriole almost killed her only for his own explosive knife to detonate stunning him long enough to be arrested and sent to the Raft.

  • Piledriver

    Poseidon was the Olympian god of the ocean and earthquakes and joined the Avengers. He along with the rest of the Avengers he was scrambled to Louisiana to deal with the threat posed by the Frightful Five. After the Quinn Jet was shot down by 8-Ball, Poseidon shielded the Black Widow from incoming fire so the could infiltrate the Mausoleum of Simon Williams. Inside Poseidon would fight the avatar of Nephytes, the Hooded Haunt to stop her summoning ritual.

  • Princess Python

    Princess Python was hired to deliver a message to Diamondback and Impala as they were wedding dress shopping. Alongside her Princess Python brought a pair of Naga who aided her in the hunt. After a brief skirmish Princess Python withdrew but not before she told Diamondback that she knew about her involvement in the Jester's murder.

    Daisy Johnson AKA Quake was a former SHIELD agent who formed a resistance movement against Jeremy Briggs alongside Nikki, Ravonna and the Two Gun Kid. Together they were able to break out Reptil, Hazmat and Mettle as well as cause Briggs 'all kind of trouble'.

  • Radioactive Man

    Chen Lu the Radioactive Man was considered a viable Thunderbolts candidate by Songbird and MACH IV alongside Harrier, Blizzard and the Swordsman but ultimately was rejected since he was actively dodging their calls. He would later be deployed in Seattle alongside SHIELD'S Hazardous Environment Recon and Disposal unit to contain the Cobalt Man. Chen was able to contain his radioactive rival long enough for the Thunderbolts to contain the Cobalt Man. He was once again offered Avengers membership but again refused citing that he was too dangerous to stay with any team for any length of time.

    It would take another radiological incident, this time the release of Biohazard in downtown Seattle to lure him back to the Thunderbolts. Although he agreed to rejoin the team he stated he would only get involved in fighting super criminals if they actively threatened the public and he main objective was the decontamination of the city. To that end he worked with Blackheath to drain the excess pollution from the soil and encourage new plant life back into the areas targeted by ULTIMATUM and Biohazard. Together the pair of them were able to clear an area that would become the foundations of the Living Fortress.

    Radioactive Man would prove to be a valuable member of the team when Emplate created a horde of thralls from the cities mutant population. After Songbird became separated from the others and Abe's MACH IV armour was compromised by Emplate, Chen took control of the team and lead them out of a thrall infested parking structure. Chen would later use his powers to open the electromagnetic locks on a device that kept Richard Cale from using his powers. He would also be part of the team that entered Emplate's Lighthouse and gave the newly enthralled Husk a disfiguring burn to prevent her from alerting Emplate to the strike force assembled to rescue Abner Jenkins.

    Chen and the other Thunderbolts would later end up splitting up in an attempt to contain various elements of the cities underworld. Alongside Songbird, Abe Jenkins and Blizzard, Chen would end up being captured and later tortured by insane ex-member Smuggler how was able to temporarily de-power Radioactive Man by stabbing a pair of carbon rods through his chest. After escaping thanks to Blizzards noble sacrifice Chen decided to take some time off to allow his powers to re-energise using the Living Fortresses Terraforming Centre.

    In the future Chen Lu is using the handle Atomic Star and is a member of the Avengers. How and when he joined is unknown but he still faces much criticism for his less then shining past from the Falcon. He also has regained the ability to remain in his human form from a currently unknown source.

  • Rapido

    Rapido alongside Shocker, Hobgoblin and Jack O' Lantern were hired by AIM to hunt down and capture Spiderman, with the wall crawler joking that Rapido should have been a Mexican Speedster. The mercanries captured Spiderman and got paid by AIM enforcer Mr. Hyde for their work before throwing the four out of the lab. Rapido and the others eventually ended up in the Bar With No Name before Shocker started a fight and got them thrown out.

  • Sandstorm

    Sandstorm was hired by ULTIMATUM to run interference while Flag Smasher readied Bio-Hazard for release. Sandstorm would end up fighting Blizzard and was ultimately frozen solid as the villain trashed the Thunderbolts Base of Operations. Sandstorm would reform minutes later and face the Jester who had come to the city in the search for salvage. Out of anger the Jester would refreeze Sandstorm and shatter him after the fiend told him he had destroyed everything in the warehouse.

  • Shocker

    Shocker alongside Rapido, Hobgoblin and Jack O' Lantern were hired by AIM to hunt down and capture Spiderman. Shocker himself fired the knockout blow and was thrown out after getting paid by AIM enforcer Mr. Hyde. Shocker and the others eventually ended up in the Bar With No Name and almost killed Jack O' Lantern for his cut of the AIM payout.

  • Sirocco

    Unlike the majority of super villains in the Siege of Seattle, Sirocco was a fully fledged member of ULTIMATUM due to his hatred of US involvement in the second Gulf War. He mainly used his powers defensively by creating a protective perimeter of tornados around the Capitol building and deflecting enemy missiles away from Biohazard. He would later be taken down when he attempted to electrocute Meteorite and Orka only for the bolt of lightning to arc back up at him and knocking him out of the sky.

    Sirocco would later be abducted by an enthralled Litterbug from a prison train and turned into an Emplate minion. He would join the assault on both the Thunderbolts and Generation X Students in a selfless attempt to carry out Emplate's orders.

  • Skeleton Ki

    Skeleton Ki was hired by Eric O'Grady to aid in a number of high rise robberies. The Ki's arcane ability to open any locked door made him a valuable asset to the group which also consisted of Antman, Dragonfly and Chemistro which was dubbed the High Rollers by the media. Eventually the Thunderbolts Blizzard and Meteorite caught the thieves in the act and after a brief squabble all of them except O'Grady were arrested and sent to the Vault.

  • Smuggler

    Conrad Josten AKA Smuggler would start on his journey to become a serial killer after his brother Erik fell into a coma. He started with Fixer knowing that SHIELD would cover up his death. His next target Harrier attracted the attention of Keira Castle who like Conrad had a need for dead Thunderbolts. On a trip to New York Castle caught Conrad talking to an angel at the site of a failed assassination attempt on Speed Demon.

    Returning to Seattle Conrad would lure Abe Jenkins, Songbird, Radioactive Man and Blizzard into a trap and took out two of them before being frozen by Blizzard. He would later attempt a biopsy on Songbird only to be flash frozen by Blizzard.

  • Speed Demon

    James Sanders AKA Speed Demon was hired by the Jester to complete a sound amplification device that could affect human metabolism. In his first mission Speed Demon ran out on diner grabbed plans stolen from a pressurised vault and made it back before the others had left. Later he expressed how he hated working on the Jester's team of idiots and that he should have taken MACH IVs offer to rejoin the Thunderbolts.

    Speed Demon would participate in the raid on the Fixer's hideout and would be quickly neutralised by tech taken from the Trapster. Later he would help Vapour to recover but appeared to support Klaw in his coup alongside X-Ray and Volcana. His entry into the Wakandan Consulate saw him wearing a fire suit as Volcana bored an entry tunnel into the building. Later Speed Demon would run a set of Vibranium chips out of the building only to be bifurcated by a zeta beam trip wire set up by Smuggler. After recovering from his wounds the now wheelchair bound Speed Demon was sent to Ryker's Island.

  • Steeplejack

    Steeplejack was another victim of the Scourge of the Underworld and was killed with a crowbar. Many in the villain community believed that the Wrecker was responsible until more victims begun to turn up.

  • Stilt-Man

    Wilbur Day AKA the Tantalising Stilt-Man would leave prison a changed man announcing to his nephew that he would try his best to be a hero. Wilbur would later catch his nephew Eugene trying on his father's frog-suit and decided to train the boy to become a true hero and help him fight crime in Brooklyn. This would help the pair avoid the fate of the Matador who was killed by the Scourge of the Underworld.

    On his first mission Stilt-Man would break up an MGH deal that resulted in Eugene being hospitalised after a keg was thrown at his head.

  • Storm

    Storm AKA Ororo Monroe was a senior member of the X-Men team and one of the teachers at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. She was part of the team scrambled to face the Power Lord of the Breakworld known as Krunn alongside local defenders Code Blue. After a lengthy battle Storm was able to break the fighting up by capturing Krunn in a tornado and throwing him from the battlefield. A little while later the X-Men would catch up to their foe and with the aid of the Shiā€™ar Champion known as Gladiator capture and incarcerate Krunn.

    There would be little time for celebration however, as Krunn would escape from his imprisonment alongside the exiled Skrull General Zargot and initiate a hostile takeover of the Shiā€™ar Empire. The X-Men would be diverted from a mission to aid in the capture of Emplate up to the Shiā€™ar Central Cruiser and attempt to bring Krunn and Zargot to justice. In the final battle Storm would once again face Krunn again only for the Breakworlderā€™s former ally to turn on him and jettison into outer space.

    Some time later the X-Men would discuss a physical search for the missing teacher Emma Frost and her students before being interrupted by the Thunderbolt Arke. After a brief skirmish in which Arke stated that Stormā€™s powers had waned from the days when the Symbiote had fought her ancestors the X-Men would accidentally follow their foe back to the Living Fortress, and after some tension band together to face the impending threat of the Skrull Empire. Storm along with the other X-Men would face the released prisoners Smuggler and Hard Shell alongside the Thunderbolts as the two villains brought time for the Skrull Princess Pagon to activate the Bio Modem to neutralize Earthā€™s military might.

    Striker was accepted into Avenger's Academy and struck up a friendship with Veil. The two if them brushed off Jeremy Briggs. As the two talked an explosion rocked New York and Briggs was able to convince Striker that Reptil was responsible and helped arrest his former teammate. Previous to this Striker was shot by an unknown assailant and told Reptil that Veil looked hot in her costume.

    Three Quarters of the Wrecking Crew; Bulldozer, Thunderball and Piledriver were seemingly murdered by Thor and then crucified to the side of a building prompting SHIELD to arrest the God of Thunder.

    Tombstone was enjoying a drink in the Bar with no name when Jack O'Lantern spilt his beer over the mobster. This resulted in angering Tombstone although the series of events after the incident are currently unknown.

  • Tuatara

    Tuatara was one of the mercenaries hired by Ulysses Klaw to help him besiege the Wakandan Consulate using Krunn's attack on the city as a smokescreen to cover his actions. Tuatara masqueraded as Officer Corkin of Code Blue to get entry into the building before her teammate X-Ray killed all the guards in the area.

    Tuatara would later aid Man Ape in killing the Black Panther before revealing her true form. Black Panther was on the back foot until Volcana and X-Ray blew up the stockpiled Vibranium causing Tuatara's reptilian mind to panic and send her into a frenzy. Despite falling from the top floor Tuatara survived hitting the concrete and buried into the sewers in an attempt to escape.

  • Triton

    Triton was a member of the Inhuman Royal Family and was in the city of Attilian when the Wizard sent an army of Vision Class Synthezoids to take the city. Thankfully Hercules was in the city and would rescue both Triton and Lockjaw and take them to Earth. After healing from his wounds Triton returned to Attilian and discovered a gauntlet dropped by an unknown party. The investigation would have to wait as the Intelligencia attacked with Triton being deployed alongside Union Jack to Manchester where Deathlock was assaulting the city.

  • Ultron

    Ultron was an AI created by Hank Pym to help fight crime using the neural network from the Dragon Man Android. Unfortunately Ultron escaped and decided rather then aiding humanity that he would rather rule it. Ultron would, in a future time line, be ruler of the majority of the Earth and would possess a large number of robotic footsoldiers.

    A discarded Ultron Shell was seen in a SHIELD warehouse ran by the Fixer. It's relationship with the active Ultron unit is currently unknown.

  • Vice*

    Vice and the rest of the Power Tools; Jackhammer, Drill and Buzzsaw, burnt down Melvin Potters costume shop in New York before being hired by Zaran the Weapons Master to steal a Kree Data Crystal in Seattle. The Power Tools raided an armoured car but were ultimately thwarted by Songbird, MACH IV and Blizzard but escaped thanks to their teleportation triggers.

    Continuing to hunt for the crystal the Power Tools found the crystal but ended up fighting the Thunderbolts again along with Victoria Hand and Orka. MACH IV was able to jam the Tools triggers before Buzz-Saw randomly scrambled his device and escaped leaving Vice and the others to take the fall, with all three of them being incarcerated in the Vault.

  • Wasp

    Janet Van Dyne AKA Wasp was married to Hank Pym some time after Ultron escaped. She remarked that the creation of Hank's 'child' had seriously effected him and that he would never have closure until Ultron was dismantled and destroyed.

  • Whiplash

    Whiplash was among the Masters of Evil recruited by Moonstone to secure a Kree Data Crystal from an Armoured Car Depot alongside Zaran, Firebrand and the Cobalt Man. The quartet would face the Thunderbolts and would later flee before reappearing in Century Link Field where they held players and fans hostage before they were thwarted by the Thunderbolts again.

    Whiplash and fellow Master Buzz-Saw would reappear in an underwater SHIELD base where they stole bullet casings that Moonstone and the Corrupter would later use to frame MACH IV for the murder of Firebrand. Once a second data crystal was found Zaran would despatch Whiplash alongside Oort the Living Comet and Gauntlet to recover it. Here she fought against the newly bonded symbiote Arke and Victoria Hand before fleeing for their lives when they discovered the pairs true power.

  • Whirlwind

    A Stimuloid created by SHIELD and infused with DNA of David Canon AKA Whirlwind was seen in an underwater base. The hybrid was awakened by Terraformer and was deployed alongside other Stimuloids to defend the structure from the Thunderbolts. The Stimuloid was quickly pacified by a combined assault by Songbird and Orka.

    The real Whirlwind would be hired by The Hood alongside other criminals such as the Constrictor, Mauler and Flying Tiger to aid in the defence of the site where Blackheart was going to ascend to the mortal plane. Whirlwind would aid Living Laser and Flying Tiger in taking down the Avenger's Quinn Jet before later being knocked unconscious by Iron Man.

  • Wrecker

    Wrecker escaped the massacre of the Wrecking Crew and sought revenge against Thor. Driven by anger and hatred the Wrecker beat Thor almost to death before revealing that another force was driving the criminal. The current whereabouts of the villain or the force controlling him is unknown.

  • Yellowjacket

    Rita de Mara AKA Yellowjacket was one of the few Heroes who answered Captain America's call to stop Blackheart's emergence into the Mortal Plane. She helped fend off both the Absorbing Man and Whirlwind before the Son of Satan used Flying Tiger's body to reconstitute his body.

    Yellowjacket would be a member of the Avengers in ten years and assist the team against the Frightful Five. She would fight Prometheus before deploying an anti viral unit to cure him of being enthralled by Emplate.

  • Zaran the Weapons Master

    Zaran worked as a field leader for Moonstone's Masters of Evil. He lead an assault on an armoured car depot before fighting the Thunderbolts, promising a million dollars to whoever brought him Victoria Hand's head. The Masters would later escape and the Power Tools would find the data crystal they were looking for before being arrested. Buzz-Saw escaped and Zaran considered executing him but Moonstone convinced him of the thugs use.

    Later Zaran lead another attack on Century Link Field and would face the Thunderbolts again before retreating with the promise of worst atrocities to come.
