At the meeting's commencement with Ishin's customary greeting, as his hand graced her head, Shiho returned his contact, closing the distance for her characteristically unusual embrace, burying her face within his stomach, her arms remaining flaccid at her sides. She stood embedded in his abdomen for several moments, until Ishin broke contact in order to speak, after which she resumed a smaller distance.

That he opened with a question of Myrmidon surprised her. It eliminated any need for her to bring up that particular incident, and though curious as to how he knew, Shiho resigned herself and left him alone in that knowledge. Faintly, she shook her head. "Iie. Kare ga sunde iru. Sumimasen." (<No. He lives. Sorry.>) A miniature energy construct of the battle atop the mountain materialized on the floor next to them, every environmental and personal detail and happening from start to finish shown in translucent colors. In the end, as he had previously done, the miniature Myrmidon faded away in a perfectly replicated miniaturized display of his flight from their engagement. The mini Shiho and environment themselves remained to keep clarity in the method the enemy used to run.

I noticed people often say or think very insulting things, and it's always they're never mocking or anything, just giving a most honest reflection of how they see the other person.

Underneath, all our characters are just jerks, really.

As chance would have it, coinciding with the termination of her conversation with Alianette, Shiho became aware of the approaching former Impero, Ishin, via detection of his distinct energy signature nearing the compound. The stall of the Elites on her behalf came as an infringement on the authority she considered Ishin to still have, unconditionally. Her natural urge drew toward her preferred form of discipline, "control" via a grim, fatal example for the next ones to take their places. An idea she would set aside until after her meeting and possibly conferring with the man who had come to visit.

Ishin's entry was met first with a bow and she approached him forwardly. "Konbanwa (Good evening), Ishin." Although she had intended to seek him out, it was he who had first initiated the meeting, and so Shiho allowed Ishin the first words.

I was rooting for her. v_v
