@mezmero: No if this was a "Dan Slott Disrespect Thread" I would be on here everyday talking about how there hasn't been a decent Spider-Man story since Grim Hunt and going through and pointing out whats wrong with each and every story since. I won't even go as far as to say its a lack of talent by Slott. Honestly I think he was probably just being too ambitious when he switched to bimonthly. Yes, he can come up with ideas fast enough, but I'd rather he spend more time making sure they were executed well with good writing.
But instead of waging these criticisms, I come here to find out what's happening in Superior, make predictions as to what will happen next, and reminisce about classic Spidey pointing out the differences between the two characters. The reason why its acceptable to discuss Amazing Spider-Man in this forum is because he is Superior Spider-Man. You can't talk/think about one comic without at least considering the other. In fact the only flaw I see in this forum is that Dan Slott and his mindless supporters have decided to come here time and time again to attack anyone who decides to assess his work as less than perfect. So if you think we're too critical, create a "Superior Spider-Man Fans Only" forum or a "Dan Slott Support Group." This is a broad topic forum and so long as someone is in someway discussing something related to Spider-Man then they are discussing Superior Spider-Man.
Now to stay on topic. I hate to hear the way sweat ol' Aunt May was portrayed in the most recent issue. I'm starting to think that all this bizarre behavior by so many characters could only be explained by this being some delusion produced within the mind of a comatose Dr. Octopus produced by him failing to exchange memories with Peter Parker.
I would like to also say that Amazing 700.1, though on the dull side, was wonderfully refreshing, had the perfect mood/atmosphere for the holiday season, and was so authentically classic Spidey that if you told me it was printed 20-30 years ago (and I didn't already know better) I would believe you.
