Once again, I think people are misinformed that this Iceman or all the other young X-Men could be from an alternate earth. I think that's why Beast is having difficulty putting this team back in the original timeline. He doesn't know that maybe the time travel machine might have went to a past of an alternate earth that's very similar to 616 but later differences changes their earth as a whole later on like for example, Iceman being gay and Jean Grey has a mysterious power that the previous Jean Grey never had. Also, maybe the characters at the end are from the same earth as these young x-men are from. So, no isn't a recon or anything, I don't think all of us should be jumping into conclusions. How do we know these two Iceman are from the actual same earth? It's never been clarify yet and maybe we will find out in the next issue.

@jonny_anonymous: But she's still Asian. Her parents are from China and Vietnam. So, I guess being Asian counts for them.

@poor_censored: No, it's not really that. It's because a lot of people are afraid to jump into a universe that has years of history and now since Marvel rebooted the Star Wars universe by making the expanded universe non-canon people decide to jump in now. It seems like people still think they get lost when jumping into an old universe but I disagree. I feel you will always find your place once you jump in no matter how old. This is why every company is deciding to reboot including Marvel to get more comic book sales.

I don't know anyone noticed but I get the feeling this idea may have come from the Doomsday being a human in Smallville which I didn't like the idea until he appeared in the show. It was very interesting and made me like Sam Wiwter as an actor. So, I hope this comic will be something like that character.

@j_hickmanisgod: It really isn't a new series. It's just an infinite/digital mini series that's coming to print. It had only 6 digital issues. So, it will be like 3 to 4 print issues.

@k4tzm4n: I loved this series and it instantly became one of my all times favorites. Loved the writing and the art and was deeply sadden when it was cancelled. I brought every single issue and I'm definitely buying the trade and hopefully get it signed. But I'm assuming the sells didn't go so well not because of the story or the art. It's just that the character doesn't have enough media attention to grow on. Not much people know her as much as someone like Spider-Man. She never made any appearances in any cartoons from I can remember. Plus her movie was awful and forgettable to give people no interest. I know people feel like media doesn't help but trust me it does. I'm pretty sure X-Men wouldn't be where it is if it was for the cartoons. She's not even playable in any video games besides Lego Marvel (She isn't even playable in Marvel Heroes yet and not anytime soon because she's not on this year's release schedule they have on the site. :-() so that dangers on another factor.

@galacticfork: Thanks for making sense on that. It makes perfect sense than the point I was thinking and it actually fits her character.

@g_man: I definitely agree with you on this one and it's argument/debate I'm standing on when I talk to my friends who thinks continuity should matter. I use to feel that way too. But I start seeing more and more errors or different universes telling many great stories, I started to realize to not care about continuity and comics should just tell great stories. It's up to us to make our own continuity as fans base on what we like and in that everyone has their own continuity and I hope Marvel will follow suit with DC eventually because it seems like Marvel are following to DC's demise on trying to follow continuity since they are reboot their universe which didn't work out too well continuity wise for DC like Superboy for example. His origin was rewritten like 5 times in the time of the new 52. So, yeah continuity cannot work out in a non-perfect world. So, I'm hoping this new era comics will wipe out continuity eventually and have writers tell good stories to their full potential.

@teerack: Well I guess since magic isn't real. I think they wanted us to feel magic has a cost and maybe pretend that it's like real treatments there are 50/50 chance.
