After fifteen years, the saga of Nikolai Dante comes to an end. What to say without spoiling it? It's fitting, funny, sad, but more importantly, right.Coming to the end of any well-loved series, especially after such a long time, is always going to be difficult. How many writers could make this work? Not many. Dan Slott can though. Everything just pulls together so nicely. If you're a long time reader this has so many beautiful little pay-offs, it's also a perfect jumping on point if you're new to the spiderverse - this madness is like the clone-saga all over again....but well written. As a Wally West fan since the 1980s I've stuck with the Flash through difficult times (rebirth, blackest night and every single one of those flashpoint crossovers) and don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed some of them (Blackest Night was excellent), but I've been secretly hoping/waiting for Wally West to come back, even if it was just hanging around in the background while Allen took centre stage.But now here we are, Flash 1, the new 52.
