"Whoa!Whoa!Whoa! Careful there, Captain Jumpys, I think that Toxin would win. He thrashed both Carnage and Venom easily. While for Iron Man, that of course would be a challenge. Also Toxin had displayed a higher resistance to sonics and fire than any other symbiote. He could destroy Capt. America for crying out loud."
Carnage and Venom don't matter at all (Iron Man could take them just as easily though) in this fight. What exactly will Toxin do when Iron Man takes to the air and carpet bombs the area? He can't fight Tony in the air so all he can do is play defense and hide (and hiding won't even be that useful with the kinds of sensors Tony has), and his defense won't be significant when Tony has access to all kinds of weapons including things his kind are weak against. Toxin can be more resistant than the others, but that doesn't make him immune and the attacks don't have to capitalize on his weakness to hurt him, those are just more effective. And what does Cap have to do with anything?"
Okay, maybe I really overeaggerated on Toxin, but I'm a huge fan of Toxin and I kind of do not like Iron Man. But I think I'd rather pick up a comic where it shows Toxin beating up Iron Man rather than the other way around.
