Honestly, I've been a bigger fan of Catwoman than Batman ever since BATMAN RETURNS came out in 1992. She made that movie and is the reason I took interest in Batman as a whole.

Does Ann Nocenti have a contract or something? How and why is she still writing? She's awful. Just awful. Let a third-grader write Catwoman. That would be better. I mean, Catbird?! Please...

I want to read Catwoman. She's my favorite. But I just can't. Not with Nocenti writing this crap.

I really want a new Catwoman design, but this current one has become so popular at this point with it being used in games, toys, statues, etc, that it might not be good to completely redisign it. It would be a good idea to modify the current look, making it a little more high-tech, practical, and stylish. I like her with thigh-high boots and long opera gloves. They make her figure look longer and slimmer. I guess I don't mind her suit being partially unzipped, as long as its not past her cleavage. I miss her having a mask like she did in the 70's and the 90's, but I've come to appreciate her goggles as long as they look feline and not bug-eyed, as they were originally drawn by Darwyn Cooke. Jim Lee made them more stylish.

I think it's important to keep her outfit sleek and lightweight, but it needs more function than what the basic leather jumpsuit she currently wears has. It should also be more unique and eye-catching. Not quite so basic and boring.

As much as I wish they would replace Nocenti, May solicitations for issue 31 shows Nocenti as the writer and the Race of Outlaws is still going...

Meanwhile in Batman/Superman 11 Catwoman guest stars!

I just never liked her being a prostitute. I consider Catwoman: Year One, Year Two, and Zero Hour to be her cannonical origin stories. In them, Selina grew up on the streets as a thief and briefly hid out in the East End posing as a prostitute at the age of 19 after a heist went wrong and she was being hunted. She obviously was turning tricks with Stan being her pimp. She stole floor plans for the museum from one of her clients which lead to her meeting Hellhound and The Armless Master. I guess it's something I have to accept. I'm glad they omitted this detail from her New 52 origin (although her new origin story sucked as well; thanks Anne Nocenti).

I enjoyed most of it! I recommend issues pertaining to The Catfile, Contagion, Legacy, Year Two, Morland McShane, Two-Face, The Scarecrow, and Cataclysm. In this series Catwoman has much more personality and is more skilled & accomplished in her adventures. I loved her costume and the way she was drawn by Jim Balent. I didn't like the redesign by Darwyn Cooke, it took years for me to accept it. Sure, Jim Balent drew her to look like a Playboy Playmate. But he also drew her with better movement than anyone else, demonstrating her graceful gymnastics and martial arts skills. All in all, it was a fun book.

It was a hard decision between Dark Knight Rises and Arkham City! I gave it to Dark Knight Rises because as a Catwoman fan, I enjoyed every second of that movie and almost cheered out loud in the theatre at the end. Hathaway's Catwoman is the most realistic, skilled, and strongest of them all. Her saving Batman by killing Bane was icing on the cake, though such an act wouldn't likely happen in the comics. Still, I loved that as well as seeing her in France with Bruce at the very end.

Arkham City's Catwoman has a little more personality and has a better costume than Hathaway's, but I have mixed feelings about her and the game doesn't excite me as much as Dark Knight Rises.
