Hey Gman, I saw you at the DC Booth today but you seemed busy so I didn't say hello. Maybe I'll see the ComicVine crew again tomorrow.

This may sound crazy but to me since back when NBC announced it's Wonder Woman (which as we know fell through) I've felt that this would be the best option for a series. Lets borrow from some other successful series. For starts I would start with her adulthood, we take the fish out of water approach you had in something like Smallville and something teens can relate with (or at least something I could relate with when I was a teen), and have here dealing with being in "Man's World" now. Next you take a queue from Xena and have her as a warrior battling Gods and monsters and the occasional megalomaniacs. Then finally place it all in a modern setting, a la Supernatural. I'm sure many would disagree with me but in my opinion that might be the best way to do it. Maybe use Brian Azzarello's current run as a starting point. And I completely agree on the costume. Something like the above would be perfect and preferable.

Well I know Gillen has been doing a great job writing Loki in Journey into Mystery, and from some of the other promotional items I've seen Loki has been teamed up with what looks like Wiccan and another young hero, so I'm leaning towards a Young Avengers type. And if Gillen is writing a series like that with Loki I will definitely pick it up.

I used to subscribe to Blastr's feed, but their tendency to blow things out of proportion and/or jump to conclusions, as well as their commenter community to blow things up even further left me to unsubscribing and feeling that most everything can't really be taken at face value, especially when it comes to comics. So I wouldn't put much stock into this beyond simple coincidence.

Man now I wish I hadn't trashed my Tier 1 and Tier 2 gear to make inventory space after I started getting my T3.

I try to limit myself to one MMO (if even that) because I'm a cheap bastard, and it takes away from money I could be spending on comics, but this removed the one hurdle that was keeping me from trying out this game. I'm looking forward to it now.

Like others have stated, I agree bringing back Thomas Wayne to the DCnU is not going to work, and for the reasons most have already stated, but lets not forget (whether or not this story holds in the DCnU) we basically just read about Batman's reaction to his fathers resurrection in Morrison's run on Batman, the whole Doctor Hurt thing would play itself all over as Bruce initially refuses to believe that it could be true.

And as I said, yes that whole story arc could go bye-bye in the DCnU but they can't retcon our memories of reading the said arc.  And it would be folly of them to have someone try to rehash the same story with a new twists so soon.

" so I understand the "Mech." part, but why "taco?""

This may be a stretch and I could very well be wrong, but I know "Tako" is japanese for Octopus.  Just throwing that out there.

@waruikumo: Actually DC does its digital sales currently through Comixology, and unless an announcement has been made saying thats changing its safe to assume these new digital copies will be through Comixology as well.  Comixology is accessible through your web-browser allowing you to read comics there, or through the Comixology app for iOS and Android.  There is also custom tailored version of Comixology for DC that just shows DC products (And Marvel, Dark Horse, Viz, I'm pretty sure Image and who knows how many others).  The custom tailored versions I know exist for iOS, Android I'm not 100% certain of but I would guess so.

I think I may be in the minority here but I think the pants costume looked better than the shorts version.  Ultimately what killed the idea of a show to me was where the story seemed to be going, costume was the last thing on my mind.  We've all learned that some costumes just don't translate well to live action.  Lets be honest do you prefer the Batman costumes of Adam west, or the serials? Or do you prefer things like the rubber/leather molded suits of Michael Keaton and Christan Bale? (I'm going to completely skip over the nippled Batsuits).  But generally it was always spandex that the costumes were made of.  So in short, lets stop whining about the costume as long as it looks good (ie not made from materials you get from your local craft store), and start being more concerned with what really matters, regardless of the media.  The content.
