Earth 247 really seemed to capture the essence of the Legion as a fun, futuristic team.  Each new integration of old characters and lore brought with it an interesting twist or homage to the past.

Yeah, I haven't stopped in my comic shop for a few weeks so now I'll be spending alot of money to catcht up on what I missed (including Legion #1)

yea their costumes seem futuristic but they also have a feel of realism as well. Earth-Man talk about a bad name but that arc was cool, if you haven't readd the new Legion series you should what they done with Earth-Man was unexpected but very cool.

I don't know why, but I really love the modern new earth too! Mostly because of their costumes (they seem more.....futuristic?). I also loved the modern Legion arc in Action Comics from a little bit ago, with them battling Earth-man and his Justice League of Earth.
