Hm? Trunks is > Cold. Just like Goku is > Trunks. They simply blocked with ki, how does that counter what I said? In fact, you just proved the point of the sword not being what matters, but the wielder.
The characters you posted have great durability themselves, so why wouldn't being able to hurt them with a stab or punch simply be a good feat for whoever manages it? Though, really, some of the examples don't help your argument. As some are blatant low showings or PIS, and they're all missing context entirely.
