TNA actually has some good stuff and great wrestlers. Aries, Styles, Roode, Storm, Joe and Magnus. And the last segment with Roode and Storm sold some ppv's.

IMHO, I think TNA has a much better roster overall than WWE. It's just that their TV product is garbage, and while their PPVs are usually decent (or even really good), TNA never gets you to care about them.

Even though logic says that James Storm will win on Sunday, I still think that Roode's title reign hasn't been all that great. He basically beat Sting last month due to a mishap, otherwise he was getting his ass handed to him. He hasn't looked dominant.

You. Know. I've. Got. What it takes to make the club go outta control.

@capelesscrusader: I'm sure it's intentional, but names for dumb/fake entertainment either have to be subtly realistic (like Smash TV or M.I.L.F. Island- you wouldn't be surprised if you heard of one of these shows on the air in the future) or completely ridiculous & stupid (like Titanic 2- so stupid that it's hilarious). "America's Got Powers" is just lazy, neither realistic or dumb enough to be funny.

Sounds like a neat idea, but it has an absolutely horrible title, like a bad pun you'd find on a Disney Channel show or something.

Oh god, I love Garfield Minus Garfield, it's like weird dark existential humor, kind of like we're watching an alternate universe where Jon is this close to suicide. It's hilarious.

Garfield's been the subject of some pretty....interesting internet projects:

@texasdeathmatch: @k4tzm4n: Sony announced back in Nov 2011 (before the film premiered here in the U.S.) that they're going to remake the film for American audiences.

Completely unnecessary, yes, but you have to look at it from a business perspective. The thing about stuff like Girl with the Dragon Tattoo or Let the Right One In is that, believe it or not, a lot of people didn't even know that the original versions of those films existed, because they don't have Netflix or those films don't come out in local theaters. Also, unfortunately, a lot of people won't watch a film with subtitles in them, straight up. It's dumb, but that's the reason why the American Girl with the Dragon Tattoo made $100 million in the US alone, which was more than 5x what the original films made in America...combined. You want to market the film to the biggest audience possible; a remake for Western audiences is how you do that.

It'll be easy to ignore though. The remake won't tarnish our views of the awesome original film.

If anyone's interested & hasn't caught the film yet, The Raid: Redemption is expanding to 600+ theaters nationwide (I think it was only at a hundred or so previously) starting this weekend, so hopefully it'll be expanding in your area.

Read this first, take note of the first point.

Girls are people, just like guys are people. They're normal! What a thought!

Practice talking to people if you struggle with starting and continuing conversations. Be confident and passionate, so a person would at least admire you for those traits, and blah blah blah, this is weird, I'm used to these threads on GB.
