My thoughts.

I agree to whoever thought about asking about if does anyone care about Maggot. Because I don't

I think that Older Scott with the X-arms in the Magazine is cheesy as hell

I am intrigued with what's going to happen with both Young Scott and Young Warren more than any of the other O5

I'm all for Young Scott and Pixie pairing considering I'm all for any version of Cyclops being paired with a non-telepath these days. (How I miss Age of X)

Still love the art

Waiting for an issue where we get to see more of Young Bobby considering we have seen quite a bit of Young Hank, Young Jean, Young Scott and Young Warren.

Oh, now that's interesting -- especially since Pixie had the hugest crush on Scott back on Utopia.

(cool article by the way on your other thread)

@danhimself:

True. But the analogy is a little off -- Scott didn't kill millions so as to create a pure race. I get the stand-offish part, but all things considered, there are a few mutants running around the school who most should be just as wary of (kid apocolypse, etc)

I think Kitty and Storm and the rest of Staff are doing a terrible job in addressing this with the students. This is still a kid. He is their responsibility and treating him like a piranha is not only hypocritical, it's goes against what Xavier stood for.

lol --- so strange how I feel so protective of young Scott's character when I have been one of the loudest detractors of the guy from even before Schism. For all the "Cyclops was right" noise, I never once thought he was (still don't) and I still don't find him to be right now. For me, it's very easy to see the younger and older as completely separate characters.

That's because they are. Nothing about Scott Summers has been right since #500. The new guy is just some psychotic created by Marvel as a foil for the new, noble, moral centre of the Universe; Logan.

thats the truest and scariest thing i have ever heard....logan of the highist standards and morals

@danhimself: The kid has done nothing wrong. He did not kill Xavier, he did not wield the Phoenix Force and wreak havoc -- he's just a kid. It's one thing for the students to do it because they haven't quite gotten used to the time-warp tendencies of the X-Men life, but the adults?

It's like expecting this kid to apologize for the older version. Would everyone accept the apology if he did? Of course not. And along those lines, neither should this kid take on the burden of the actions his older self. Young Scott is just that. Young Scott. He doesn't deserve this treatment. If so, then Jean should be locked up. Her future is more catastrophic in terms of Phoenix influence. But nope, she gets to play leader.

Uncomfortable? Understandable. Shunned? No way. Feels too forced to me.

it's not right but that doesn't mean that they can help it either.....it's kind of like if you ran into the teenage Hitler...I'm not comparing Scott to Hitler....would you be able to not hold everything his future self does against him

Ah, yes. More the fool me for thinking there is direction and purpose with Bendis' take so far.

Thank you.

yeah i dont get it either...i think its because shes dead that she gets special treatment, since marvel brought her back there trying not to tarnish her image anymore, thank god

hers some news about jean's life getting more complicated:

Exciting News About Jean Grey......»

I also think that Pixie is going to save teen scott from mystique and start dating because marvel hinted a scott/pixie pairing i forgot where i read it.....and i hope teen jean doesnt end up with quentin

I am just not feeling the whole Jean being the leader thing. Not even close. And having Scott be the odd guy out and everyone shunning him practically doesn't make any sense.

Add Wolverine acting the bully? Pretty safe guess tBendis likes making Logan the @sshole.

I don't think this is the case. Bendis simply can't write and has no idea what he's doing. He probably thinks that Logan abusing young Scott is perfectly fine, since Scott is an exemplar of evil and terrorism now.

The guy has no idea. That's all it is. Thinking he has an agenda is giving him far too much credit.

@lykopis: why wouldn't everyone shunning Cyclops make any sense? They just watched his older self become the Dark Phoenix and raise all kinds of he!! it's probably a little awkward to be around him
