I agree with some of the others about Laurie. She's the one breaking down and Rick has to bring her back into reality. Then she seems to immediately be the sane one to Rick's freaking out. Then a few scene's later she's talking crazy again. She needs to die or find some lithium. Great episode otherwise, though. Being a fan of the comic and seeing what they include and what they change has been awesome! Considering all the the twists they are adding to the show from the comic perspective I'm hoping for a few different things to happen. I hope that at the end of this season they just find the prison, and that Shane breaks off from the pack mentioning trying to find someone in Woodbury. Shane is sliding into the abyss and would make an awesome governor! Or maybe I just want to see Michonne do unspeakable things to Shane. Either way, can't wait for next week!

That might work if the hero has super speed or teleportation where they never have to worry about appearing in public. Otherwise people are going to know about them. As soon the public finds out they exist some people are going to devote their lives to uncovering more about them if they aren't coming forward. Its probably better that they have a public presence just to make sure the likes of Perry White are spending their time trying to make their public life more public instead of their private lives.

I watched Burial Ground when I was five years old and have been hooked on zombies ever since. I own maybe 150 zombie movies and two dozen zombie games. The only comic I have read with zombies in it that I really liked was and still is The Walking Dead. Most of the others I've come across are just done poorly. Haven't yet read Blackest Night but hated Marvel Zombies. The main problem I see with this kind of over-saturation is when people just throw them in to make a buck it brings down the whole genre.

I mostly like Marvel for following certain characters and arcs, but always dip into DC's catalog for their awesome one offs. So many great mini-series in DC comic lines I would never read otherwise. For full collections that I re-read every issue its got to be Marvel.

@Feliciano2040:
Its actually my liking of Batman that forms my opinions on this subject. Out of all the DC comics, Batman always appealed to me the most because he didn't have super powers. Growing up and reading Batman I read comics where a human with no super powers fought other humans with no super powers. Yes, these were humans at the peak of what a person could do with the resources to match, but what I liked the most is that he had his own thing going on in Gotham. He was what a person could become under the right circumstances. Batman is just a guy at his base, with all the ups and downs of being a human. The disservice I was talking about is the believable nature of putting him in exactly the right situation to defeat a super villain in one story then having him deal with getting injured by some nobody in comparison a week later. I guess I've always just wanted those two worlds separate because it feels contrived to me when they've had those two worlds cross paths.

Search youtube for Dark Knight meets Superman. There are two parts. Funny as hell because they show what would happen if the writers of comics were ever honest about the comparison. If any of the elite bad guys Batman has beaten ever used even one of the things they used against Superman Bruce Wayne would be no more. I laughed when I read Batman beating down Superman. How did it happen? Because Superman decided to play nice and not melt his face off from 2 miles away. While they both reside in the same 'universe' the writers do a huge disservice to the reader by trying to put them on equal footing or having Batman square off against a super villain.

Arkham City short run and Batman Incorporated are pretty good. If you can find what's been released so far, look into the Fear Itself event. I've got about 30 of the 40 issues, (across many titles), so far and its been a great read.
