Perhaps this is why Marvel has turned to pitting it's heroes against each other in it's various events. It at least creates the illusion that the stakes are higher. At the end of the day there will still be Avengers and X-men though.
They kind of had to do the reveal about the no-bite zombies for the Shane scene to play out the way it did. I mean Shane could have been the revelation but that'd leave scant time for the horde to make a showing.
Cyborg added some much needed spice to the first arc. It added something new, and it was interesting to see how they tied him into things. I like Martian Manhunter but I think for a modern take on the team Cyborg makes a lot of sense.
I was sorta hoping Earth 2 was going to be the pre-flashpoint DCU much like how the silver age was earth 2 for that universe. Would have been cool to have one or two titles that dealt with that universe as a whole.
