Samuel L Jackson as Mr Glass in Unbreakable.

Also since Unbreakable as been brought up . The Horde from Split was a great villain.

@all-father: How come Dredd doesn't get a mention? Or for that matter Blade?

Makes sense. Shelve the sequel to arguably your best animated feat in the last 6yrs for more of the New DCaU anime dung.

Well put, mate. That is exactly the situation and it sucks big time.

@aros001: I am looking forward to Batman/Harley as well because I heard Bruce Timm is writing it.

Justice League: Gods & Monsters is my favourite DC animated feature by a long shot. It was just stellar. Especially then DC animations had been pretty abysmal for a while there until it came out. Anyway. The alternate trinity was cool, the alternate universe was also cool. I couldn't wait to see more but the property got shelved. Gutting and it doesn't look like there's anything coming up over the horizon. I really wish they would release some more as I think DC's animated features need a good kick up the ass.

@masterofevil: @jonny_anonymous:Don't get me wrong. I liked the ending. Didn't pull any punches. Straight nihilism. It was such a good series. I hope Ellis comes back to the character eventually. Maybe do another 6 issues?

Not a huge Venom fan in general but I'm liking the new host in this. It'll be a shame if he goes after just 5 issues. Not a popular on here though.

SPOILERS

I'm not a big fan of M Night Shyamalan these days but I've always loved Unbreakable. So for me that twist/ending/easter egg was great. I was pretty much enjoying the film as it progressed but when Unbreakable's theme kicked during that scene. I started losing it in the cinema. When it was clear that the 2 films shared a universe (when I saw Bruce Willis). I lost it. When I concluded that Split was a supervillain origin story to match Unbreakable's superhero origin story and a third film where they face off against each other is on the cards. I lost it even more. Anybody else?
