Levina suddenly appeared in a streak of mixture of golden and sapphire electric energy before the Academy as the one and only Hi-Voltage. “Woah, that was pretty cool.” She whispered to herself looking down at her hands as she could hear two teenage boys bickering to each other in her ear through the ear piece that only she could hear through her powers. Daniel tried explaining it to her, something about the frequency was some electromagnetic something something that only her ears could pick up. She honestly forgot, too many big words.
“See I told you it would work!” Daniel, her best friend since elementary school shouted. "Electricity and light are both forms of electromagnetic radiation and all ER travels at the same speed of 300,000. Usually electricity is restricted to wires so it only travels- "
"UGH Daniel you're so boring no one want's to hear how big your brain is.” The other voice, Michael, spoke up only to suddenly what Levina only assumed was Daniel hitting Michael over the head. “OUCH WHAT THE HELL DANIEL!?”
“She needs to be educated on her powers! What if she has to go up someone like that crazed red horned dude who destroyed Gothic!?”
“Guysss!” Levina hissed from between her teeth. “I need you guys to shut the funk up, I’m about to make a first impression here.”
“Sorry” Was heard in unison as the hero walked up the steps and pushed the doors open to the Academy. Daniel and Micheal where her closest friends, and part of 'Team Voltage Extreme' (it was Micheal's idea) and were the only ones who knew of Levina's powers. They were the only two people in the whole wide world that she trusted! Even if they were stuck back home watching everything through a hidden camera that Levina wore as HV. They gave her consistent live feedback (for better or worse) and information on opponents. They really were a team.
Levina was a 17 year old girl who acquired her powers when she accidentally activated her mutant genes after going through an… accident… we’ll just leave it at that. But she hadn’t done much as a hero. Just little things here and there in her hometown, but nothing extensive enough to have drawn the attention of Maya Summers. Or at least she thought she didn’t. But her powers were only active, when she transformed into her hero persona, Hi-Voltage. Taller, athletic build, brown hair, older appearance (mid 20’s) and ready to save the day. It was very much different from her normal self. Smaller, petite, dirty blonde hair, looking like she's ready to just pick up a book and hide away.
She had actually received a letter in the mail from Maya Summers herself, inviting her to the Academy on some sort of Scholarship or something. Which.... Levina was going to decline because she didn't know who this person was, but thanks to Micheal and Daniel consistent bickering, she accepted it and well... here she was. It was a little harder explaining it to her parents... but they bought it... kinda. Just without telling them about the 'school for gifted students' part. She had already sent in her application information, so now she just had to settle in. But of course she would do so has Hi-Voltage... cause she didn't know what this school was exactly about and she didn't want anyone else to know who she really was. At least for now.
"oh my gosh look at that!" Daniel was heard with excitement in his voice as typing was heard over the mic. "This place is rolling with money!"
"Maybe walk around and try to meet some of the other students. OH MY GOSH WHAT IF ONE OF THOSE LIAFADORS ARE HERE!?." Micheal heard screaming into the mic only to hear the sound of another smack across the head echo into the mic. "OUCH FUNKEN SHUT DANIEL!"
"Levina, start walking around and see if you can meet some of the other students." Daniel said sighing into the mic. "I'll try and keep Micheal's excitement contained."
"R-right, you're right." She began walking through the school, looking for someone to meet, hopefully someone in... what class was she in again... diamond class?
