@genghis:
During the "WWIII" storyline, Black Adam was under a lot of stress and was unusually enraged/unreasonable to deal with. Even more than normal. Despite this, his former teammates in the JSA (Hawkman included) sought to talk to and if possible reason with him to stop the rampage he was on at that time. Hawkman's mindset at that time was to try and talk some sense into Black Adam and hopefully coax him back into more heroic ambitions as he (Black Adam) had become something of an anti-hero during his tenure with the JSA, not to mention the fact that thousands of years earlier, Black Adam served Hawkman as Mighty Adam back when Hawkman was still Pharaoh Khufu. Alas, it didn't go as planned. Hawkman didn't bring his nets, daggers, the Claw of Horus, or his other bladed weapons to that conflict. Just the mace. He only struck him with it a few times while trying to talk it out, hence his taking some brutal shots in the process. Since the mace is a blunt force weapon, it did not cut through BA like butter (though it has knocked the teeth out of the mouth of people as powerful as Despero, so take what you can from that information...)
My contention was that if like the OP says, Hawkman has intel on Juggernaut and has his full equipment, he could duplicate Shatterstar's accomplishments in an even more grand fashion. Because while Shatterstar stopped his attack long enough for Mr. Marko to heal from his wounds, Hawkman (who is much stronger, faster, and FAR better trained than our Mojoverse refugee) could dance around Juggernaut scoring hits with bladed weapons designed from scratchto ruin a magic user's day. He could ram Nth Metal dagger after Nth Metal dagger in between Jugg's 1st & 2nd vertebrae and his Thoracic vertebrae, into both his Achilles tendons, his hamstrings, his eyes, etc.. and leave them there while continuously and simultaneously slashing away at him with the worst of intentions. Just like Carbonadium bullets in the Marvel Universe all but disables healing factors until they are removed and taken far away from the victim, having Nth Metal daggers imbedded into vital areas all around his body (and we all know that Juggernaut is not known for his dexterity, so he might remove a few, but he won't remove them all) would be a crippling method of attack for Hawkman to utilize here. Juggernaut would find that the magic he relies on would be quickly fading fast, and that the Nth Metal would be continually buffering if not totally negating any further incoming magic from the Crimson Cosmos. Hawkman would be free to dismember Juggernaut at his leisure at that point, because if he couldn't even touch Shatterstar, Hawkman would present a considerable challenge to him.
