In a Dale Keown penciled crossover a few years back, Pitt fought the Hulk to an absolute standstill. Not to mention the fact that he uses physical pain the same way Green Lanterns use will, or the way the Hulk uses rage. Pain actually increases this guys base strength level, which is among the strongest that i'm aware of within the Image Universe. Pitt also suffers from "Hank McCoy" syndrome in that he's WAY smarter than he looks. The only thing keeping me from voting for team 1 is a lack of knowledge on Rick's acomplishments since he got his powers.

Correct. Spider-Man's good. Very good. But if he breaks his hands just punching Morlun, he's not going to produce anywhere near enough horsepower that the likes of Solomon Grundy and/or Black Adam in a bad mood can generate.

I'm not sure, but I do think that if nothing else, Pitt and Badrock would work better together as a team than Rick Jones and Emil Blonsky would. Especially considering their past experiences together. Hmm.. Still stumped...

This would be the comic book equivalent of a pay-per-view title match. I think Jack Kirby would approve, and since he's unfortunately no longer with us, the duty of bringing this to life would/should fall to Walt Simonson. They could charge whatever they want, and i'd pay it. Gladly.

@jashro44: When has hawkman moved at super sonic speeds? That is something I haven't heard of before. Can he apply this to combat? Strength my understanding is should be close I agree, the fire can be covered with webbing. The weapons could be a problem depending on his skill feats in using them. He would need accuracy feats to tag spider-man.

I have got to get a scanner:(. Hawkman has flown at supersonic speeds before, especially when (but not exclusively) when performing diving attacks. As far as his skill with ancient weaponry, well, the guy is several thousands of years old. If he's not good with them by now, I don't know how much more practice he's going to need lol!

What I hope they (DC Comics) do either before the New 52 is over or soon after it ends is show Hawkman using the Nth Metal to perform more exotic attacks related to The Unified Field Harmonic it taps into, not unlike Onimar Synn did Pre New 52. That would be cool and it would open up a whole new level of offense for him. Only time will tell on that one though..

No, I haven't had the chance to read much of the New 52 stuff yet. I'm gonna really end up spending a lot of money on TPB's for sure before this is all said and done.
