Since the Black Panther has his own strike team: Dora Millaje, it makes sense that he would create his own team. Not necessarily an Avengers team, but a team of his own, nonetheless. T'Challa and Shuri have cutting edge technology surrouding them at all times, but the thought never occurred that having their own superpowered squad would make sense? I, for one, would welcome a new team of heroes from Wakanda and it might interesting to see what the creators and writers come up with, even if Tony Stark, Captain America and Captain Marvel all survive or not!

For me it was picking up a Marvel book called: Quasar. I read the origin story and at the end of the comic there was a brief science lesson. I was over the moon! Still one of my favorite characters and one of my all-time favorite comic books.

I have to say that this show, after transitioning away from CBS has become nothing but a love story, and oh yeah they have superheroes too! Kara was in love with the African-American Jimmy Olsen, then wait... they decide not to get together. The Toymaker's son falls in love with an alien. Then Kara's sister falls in love with another woman and has asked her to marry her. Kara then falls for Mon-El, but wait the Earth is now poison to him. J'onn falls for Megan, but wait, she is a White Martian. All the true fans want are simple things, in my opinion:

  • Great Rogues Gallery (Metallo, any Luthor, etc.)
  • Appearance by Power Girl
  • New costume!
  • Krypto, Streaky, or even Comet appearance
  • Long running storyline that culminates in a huge battle, like Crisis of Infinite Earths (I know she dies in that one!)
  • Darkseid and a visit to Apokolips

Thinking about the ending of Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, and knowing how the Infinity Gauntlet turned out in comics....my answer has to be Adam Warlock. He ends up with gauntlet, forms the Infinity Watch, and then separates the Infinity stones among the members of the Infinity Watch, which includes:

  • Gamora
  • Pip the Troll (Hasn't been seen yet)
  • Drax the Destroyer (Original)
  • Maxam
  • Moondragon
  • and Thanos (calmer, more docile version)

@uugieboogie: Barry could not use his phasing and speed because the inner ring of the facility was fitted with power dampeners. That is why he enlisted Captain Cold from the year 1892.

A couple of choices, come to mind:

  1. Cyclops - I have always hated the visor.
  2. Rage - The Luchadore mask and the fact that he is a teenager did not sit well.
  3. NFLSuperPro - Do I really need to give a reason?
  4. Sleepwalker - No one sleeps that much.
  5. Darkhawk - His dependency on that diamond was not such a good idea.
  6. Jubilee - Fireworks, really?!!
  7. Longshot - 2 hearts, and luck? Gimme a break!
  8. Adam X - Either say he is a 4th Summers brother or not! SHEESH!!!
  9. Alpha Flight/Beta Flight/Omega Flight - Rewrite the WHOLE DAMN THING!
  10. Great Lakes Avengers - Give them a serious origin.
  11. Maggott - I just thought they could have done better, with this guy.
  12. Strong Guy - No imagination was used for this character, at all.
  13. Nubia (DC) - Give her a fair shot, like they did for Wonder Woman
  14. Aquarian - I don't remember his origin well, but I remembered I did not like it.
  15. Stingray - He should be prominently featured with Namor or some team. His costume was awesome.
  16. ClanDestine - Too complicated to follow all of those characters. Make teams of them and give a better storyline.
  17. Rogue - Clean up the history between her and Mystique
  18. Husk - Pulling off your skin and you don't know what is underneath. Sounds useless for some things.
  19. Living Tribunal - Does he have an origin?
  20. Blazing Skull - Why just the skull?

I just read the latest Thor (Digital Comic) which tells the origin of Mjolnir. That would suggest that all of the weather related powers emanate from Mjolnir and not Thor. Th origin tells that Odin trapped a huge universe-wide storm within a hunk of Uru, and had it forged into a hammer by dwarves, who almost could not get it done. Thor is strong, and he is of a race of long-lived Asgardians, but beyond that....Flight, Thunder, etc... come from the Might Mallet from the man with a Mullet!

I am leaning towards Fear for him. Fear would seem to fit for someone walking around known as a Demon. There is a good reason for him being a Red Lantern also, since he spits flames. It would be interesting to see him as either.

I am up to episode 6 in the series and while the story is decent, the fighting choreography is not sharp enough for someone expecting the Iron Fist to be on par with Shang-Chi. With the exception of the fight in the hall with the Hatchet men, all of the fight scenes have been rather Vanilla. I do appreciate the form fitting tank-tops and yoga pants on Colleen, along with the tight business attire of Joy. As for everything else, there is a little disappointment. I will remain faithful through to the last episode of this season, but after that, I may have to re-evaluate after seeing how well the Defenders series looks.

I must say that I have enjoyed a lot of different things that JMS has written. I think my favorite was his "Rising Stars" series under Image. It had a lot of parallels to the Justice League, X-Men and other groups, but it also had a dark side. It is definitely worth taking a look and the series ending was something I did not see coming at all. There was also one called Midnight Nation that was a mixture between Constantine and Dr. Strange.
