Definitely up there. When I was watching it I wasn't sure wether I was sad because of his death or because it was the end of breaking bad.

@14nc3: To many, it was the same thing.

Not in order but my personal list:

-Merle; the Walking Dead

-Andrea; Breaking Bad (severely underrated, especially because of the beautiful acting of Aaron Paul)

-Jeremy Gilbert; Vampire Diares

-Jiraiya; Naruto

-Frye's dog; Futurama

@princearagorn1: Mostly because I knew it was going to happen from the previous episode.

Rita's was just BAM happened. I honestly didn't think they would go that route.

I thought they were going to have Rita catch him.

Poor Rita. + That shot of Harrison drenched in his mom's blood was just heart breaking.

That kid's (can't remember his name) death, from the Dead Poets Society was pretty sad too.

Mhhm. It's also one of the few times that Dexter actually showed some kind of emotion other than the usual malevolent ones. Not gunna lie, I kind of wanted Rita's death to somehow ignite something "human" inside of Dex. That wish however was crushed when I saw this.
