Tis a damn shame Young Justice will have only been 2 seasons. I thought it was the 2nd-coming of Justice League. While I initially didn't like it, the animation style grew on me, and while I still get irked by the huge discrepancies with the comics -- likely based on trying to force a cohesion with the new 52 (Wally's a kid, despite him being an adult when Superboy was in YJ, and that Tim-Robbin was the Robbin the whole time, etc etc)....it still had good stories and because it was a team-show (like JL), we got animated versions of many characters in just 1 show (and because the animated comic-series come along so infrequently - this is a good "strategy").
Here's hoping the new Avengers & Hulk shows turn out good.
I don't know what forced cohesion you're talking about....Wally hasn't ever appeared in a New 52 book and Dick was the first Robin on the Young Justice show....there wasn't any kind of cohesion between the show and the New 52 or the pre52 at all
Ok, maybe I wasn't as specific as I could have been. I didn't mean COPYING the new-52 (YJ is it's own "universe" - not Earth 1 or 2, so it wouldn't be copying it), I mean that Barry is the adult-flash in it (as he is in the new-52 universe, and the JL GL being Hal, while it was Kyle pre-52 at the time of YJ) and they have Wally as the Kid-Flash and the first robin on it be Dick. When in the comics, YJ was formed with Tim being Robin & Wally West being the adult-flash of the time(with Barry gone). They had it be some odd mash-up of the orig. Titans roster & the YJ one. (Yes, I just said it wasn't earth 1 or 2, so I guess I shouldn't be expecting it to line up with the comics, but I don't think it would have been hard to stick to comic ages/rosters (it brings familiarity & therefore more appeal)........I get irked by stuff like that...sue me)

Very spot-on analysis IMO. (Just to touch on a few thoughts, since there were so many points): Yea, I never cared for Teen Titans because it was like that (so obviously a "kids show")**. I was pleasantly surprised by Spectacular Spiderman (whose animation style made me assume it was going to be more "kiddy", when the story was great). I actually like Ultimate Spiderman though. Sure, the 4th-wall breaks & corny jokes get old, but I like the animation & it always have great action scenes. I completely agree that kids will still like shows even if they have plots that keep the attention of older viewers. I often babysit my friend's (now) 3yr-old little girl, and I've gotten her into super-heros and she loves watching the "old" Superman & Justice League episodes (and the direct-to-DVD animations that are "appropriate"....forgot the content of some & accidentally showed her Superman/Batman Apocalypse w/the fury lying in a pool of blood, lol). If we're in the middle of an episode when she has to leave, I always finish it :D. And I must "ditto" having seen All-That more recently and thinking "oh god....how did I think that was funny??"
** I wiki'd Teen Titans Go! because I hadn't read much about it, and what I found makes me want to puke (thinking about the quality of the show, as an older viewer)
Teen Titans Go! focuses on the "funny business" that happens between the Teen Titans when not saving the world and when living together as teenagers without adult supervision. The Teen Titans must deal with horrific situations such as teenage pranks reaching a whole new level, or having to take Driver’s Ed after wrecking the Batmobile

Really that Fox network Xmen was the worst ever for me, but people seem to love it . No disrespect but they had a tendacy of putting Rogue in storylines in which she had no business being in. Fox put her in the place of Colossus, I was 120% percent against this, which carried over into the Xmen movies, no disrespect to Rogue. This is the only beef I had with that cartoon, aside of too much Wolverine, and his horrible voice actor.
