I'd respond truthfully, but my answer will get me kicked off the site.
Let's just say I'd rather be turned into a Big Daddy/Handyman than even imagine something like that happening.
Oh, and you think collectivism sounds cool? As cooky as it sounds, Bioshock 2 uses collectivism as the force behind the events that transpire in the game.
Normally I don't take games seriously, but Irrational/2K makes sure to add reality based stuff to the Bioshock games. So, I think it's a pretty good example of Collectivism.
Minus the underwater environment, Splicers and animalistic cyborgs that is.
I would respond truthfully to your response, but my answer would result in receiving an offer to be a moderator and we can't have that, can we? ;)
I don't equate my opinions to fictional worlds, even supposed reality based ones because really, it's still someone's interpretation of an idea/philosophy and I like to think for myself. As for collectivism being cool -- maybe/maybe not? I don't subscribe to labeling things -- I have more faith in my ability to process information gained by my own observances and independent knowledge gathering but that isn't to say I discount everything I learn at school. So far, anyway.
Animalistic cyborgs and splicers however are cool.
