Medusa should be in an Inhumans book or as someone else put it a supporting character to the Fantastic Four. Also she and the rest of the Inhumans should be discussed in their own forum on the Inhumans board......oh wait, does any site even have one of those?

Hell No!! I don't read X-men now (except Uncanny) and I definitely don't read Inhumans or anything Marvel is putting out right now.

Sadly this is so stupid that Marvel will probably end up doing exactly that, merging them.

Angel with the Archangel stuff is the most interesting.

Liu made Iceman interesting with one arc but that was it. I actually like him as a darker brooding character as opposed to the wannabe Spiderman jokester. I'd like to see Bobby as the straight-laced hero kind of the equivalent to Captain America. But anyway Iceman as the hero who always seeks to do the right thing but is afraid of what his powers can do if he fully unleashed them, would be far more interesting to me than the silly immature guy he's been

Lol. Bendis run was garbage and in order to try and leave his mark he made Iceman gay. Now some idiots are clapping their hands and acting like this is some championing of diversity. It's a gimmick and a bad one at that. Bobby is not gay. They should have left it alone and he definitely doesn't need a solo. If they wanted to focus on LGBT then they should have pushed Karma or even (God forbid) NorthStar.

@hyperion_x: Yeah I would love to see something like this happen with Hope really being the mutant messiah in this situation and then it leading to her becoming the Dark Messiah, which is a story I've hoped for and even tried my hand a writing for the longest. It would be a sad but present day play on the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix storyline from way back when.

@stormphoenix: No they would fight against that. I don't see the X-men supporting or submitting to a "racist, xenophobic, slave owner society" to quote a friend of mine. The Inhumane seeking to subjugate all with a mutation and the X-men fighting against them and actually teaming up with humans to cast the Inhumans off the planet, then the humans seeing the power that mutants really could unleash and restarting the suspicion,skepticism and paranoia that led to people like Bishop and Ruby Summers future,....might be the only way to even read and enjoy this.

We're not even through with Death of X and haven't even gotten to IvX. Hell Civil War is still dragging on and they are teasing this? And what's the purpose of announcing that there will be an announcement next week.These gimmicks are just plain ridiculous.

And I doubt this is good news. It seems they are still trying to merge or link X-men and Inhumans together and really who wants that.

The only way this works is if Beast can somehow alter the gas so it no longer sterilized mutants but jump starts mutation and resurrects the dead. Also sending the O5 back while bringing the real Jean, Cyclops, Wolverine and Professor X back. All this while the mutants help the Inhumans lift and move their royal city back to the moon or in orbit or something and have them travel the Marvel U or in other dimensions in search of other Inhumans. The Inhumans basically become like the Celestials just going around to other universes and dimensions and jumpstarting evolution.

Sounds far-fetched and unlikely??... Well that's the only way any good can come out of this.
