nolan never wanted his batman outside of his universe he has even said that his batman does not fit with other universes just his and john blake as batman was to be implied and never to go past that movie. Warner would never back a batman movie that was not bruce wayne under the cowl. Nolan told his story and he ended it, it is not suppose to go on as other movies nolan never wanted his story to go on after he was done. Also the rumors have been confirmed as false.JGL will not be batman in JLA movie

@HexThis: could not agree more. everyone nitpicks about these films but remember where nolan found the bat franchise, in the grave because schumacer ran it into the ground and killed it. so give Nolan credit for reviving the Batman.
@DeathpooltheT1000: I feel that joel was the worst think ever to happen to the batman franchise i mean he gave them nipples and turned every villian into a rip off of the joker... and need i say george clooney as batman..wow he should never be able to make another movie ever.
i think heath ledger was great and spot on as the joker, i dont mind bales bat voice i think it has a good growl to it which batman is known to have, also some things about dkr was off but i dont think it was over rated it is an elseworld batman. not every actor portraying a charactor should play it the same and for anyone who thinks that you have no vision, thats the whole point of acting. anne hathaway was great. the dkr wasnt my favorite of nolans movies but i think he did a great job reviving the franchise after the monster shumocker ruined it and almost killed it forever so when you want to bad mouth what nolan did, remember batman forever and batman and robin yeah we dont want that to happen again.
