I'll be excited for this when I hear the news that Snyder doesn't have anything to do with the sequel. The action sequences and city-wide destruction was so ridiculously chaotic that I was done with it before Zod ever set foot on Earth.

This whole storyline reminds me a little too much of every arc featuring the Chameleon. He takes over Peter/Spider-Man's identity, traps Peter/Spider-Man who eventually breaks out, Peter/Spider-Man defeats the Chameleon, then puts the pieces of his life back together. I don't really see how different this is going to be except that it might go on for more than 4 or 5 issues lol.

So is this Batman's own personal Deadliest Warriors article series lol?

Probably going to have something to do with the costume change still to come. I foresee Cyclops becoming an Omega-Level mutant and he can now use his powers through more than his eyes. He'll probably be able to fly too lol.

I really like what Marvel has set up with Cyclops. I honestly didn't give a crap about AvX and only know what transpired thanks to wikipedia. Following the event I was basically ready to drop most marvel titles save for a handful of books (Amazing Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, X-Factor). I still don't have much faith in what Marvel is going to do with the Avengers or X-Men books since it'll probably just be the same basic stories to fill the months until the lead-up to the next event book, but if there's one point that I truly find intriguing is it's Cyclops' evolution as a character. It elevates his depth to a level that only a few ever had in my opinion. I was talking to one of the guys who runs the comic book store I frequent and his take is that Cyclops will be the new Magneto and Wolverine will fill the Xavier role. I don't know if that's exactly how things will role out (I HOPE it is), but perhaps the more important thing is that I hope Marvel actually does some justice and explores this for a good while before bringing out Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, or whomever else they might revisit.

M'eh. I didn't like any of the actors they chose to be Riddler, Mad Hatter and Calender Man. Just didn't look right for the parts to me. Also hated the voice for Bane. Overall though, not a fan. It just didn't do anything to tell any kind of story that wasn't already done in Rises.

I like the way it's looking compared to some of the images shown over the last month or so, but I'm still not a huge fan.

The pilot was decent but a lot of the acting and the script was very cheesy. And people really need to get over the whole killing, alcohol, drugs, sex thing. Yes it's a lot of taboo stuff but so what. I think it could be toned down a bit only because it felt a little like they were trying too hard to make it seem like the series is dark and gritty and all that. Personally I'd rather see this stuff than a boxing glove arrow though.

M'eh. I'll care if NetherRealms does something more with GL & Joker than MK vs. DCU did. Also fingers crossed that Huntress makes it into the game. Probably an 87% chance that it won't happen but still...

I've always thought that it wouldn't be a bad idea to go down the road maybe 10 years and jump straight into having an established Robin & Batgirl with an older Batman mentor. I don't think it has to be a full on Batman Beyond-type scenario where Bruce is behind the scenes in the Batcave, but I'm not at all against the idea. I think whatever happens, competency is the key. There's nothing that definitively does or doesn't work. Quality of work is what will determine the next stage of success or failure for the Batman movie franchise. Okay I take that back...Bat-nipples definitively doesn't work lol. But they're like the only thing.
