BLM and Antifa attacks small business owners and terrorizes innocent communities, America First/Trump supporters go after the millionaire/billionaire US government in the capital. the Left are cowards and bullies, the Right stands up to the most powerful people in the world.

No, Trump supporters who robbed the Capital Building and trashed it are in the wrong. They aren't helping anything by doing that. The Trump supporters from yesterday are losers, and are making fools of themselves.

Agreed, Factg. Trying to pretend that some of the people who threatened the safety of fellow Americans are somehow heroic is disgusting.

I agree with you. I hope those people who broke into the Capitol Building are arrested. And a woman was also shot by another Trump supporter. It was madness, and Penguin Returns is making a joke out of it.

You two should admit the same things for the BLM and Antifa people cause they're also guilty of trashing and robbing as well as threatening the safety of others.

ARREST THEM ALL.

Did the caps finally get the point across?

Please take note of the very important difference. Rioters and looters that did their crimes under the cover of BLM and Antifa were not egged on by the head of the Democratic party. MAGA-heads storming the capital WERE egged on by the head of the Republican party.

And also, I must add, I find it pretty disgusting to make the false equivalence. Raging in the streets is not the same as an insurrection occupying the seat of our nation's governmental power.

Those guys in that picture clearly believe their jack-assery is just good ol' mischievous fun. I believe it is very important that we aggressively prosecute their crimes to impress upon them, their ilk, and the world that this was no laughing matter.

I have a hard time applying the word "epic" or "appreciating" to this era.

This just makes me sick to my stomach.

Trump's tepid response to the occupation of American Capitol Building, failing to aggressively denounce their actions, is yet another indication he is weak-willed when it comes to national defense. Most of us already knew this.

Trump's failure to actually concede is a continuation of him stoking their fires.

He is literally a threat to national security.

Trump does not deserve another two weeks. Resignation now, please.

@hatutzeraze: That isn’t. He believed he was being defrauded so he wanted to see the actual number of the votes.

That is a very fragile defense of his actions.

Trump brought up voter anger and potential legal problems for the Georgia Secretary of State. He then brought up the exact number of votes he needed to overturn the state in his favor. That is pressure to change the vote, and it was clear he didn't care how it happened. He clearly didn't care if it was legal. That is a crime.

"I just want to find 11,780 votes." - President Donald Trump

If he truly cared about the details involved with the votes., he would have listened and taken heed of the Secretary of State's confirmation that everything was fair and above board. The President of the United States has access to media that allows him to have seen the press conferences of Gabriel Sterling, another Republican who has refuted every one of Trump's objections. Trump has ignored all of that.

Donald Trump doesn't care about the details and doesn't want to see the actual number of votes. If he did, he would listen to the totals the Georgia officials have confirmed and certified. All Trump cares about is getting them changed. He has an expectation of the final total and doesn't care how it gets there as long as he gets the results he wants. That means HE is the one who is actively attempting to defraud voters.

@cpt_nice: what crime?

I am assuming attempted election fraud. He tried to get the Georgia Secretary of State to find just enough votes to overturn the election. That is a crime.

that's an article about the tape and here goes the full audio in case you want to hear it for yourselves. to me it didn't sound like he was trying to "verify" information. when you verify you don't ask for something.

This is a flat-out crime. This is precisely what Trump supporters have been howling about since the election, that someone is attempting to criminally, corruptly disenfranchise American voters. This is President Trump doing precisely that. He is asking people in charge to "find" enough votes to make him the winner in Georgia. Trump has asked this after multiple recounts have confirmed the Joe Biden win. These recounts were managed by a Republican Secretary of State who donated to the Trump campaign and voted for Trump twice. Trump was told that his facts were not correct by the people who know best, yet he persisted.

He asked for the Georgia Secretary of State to find enough votes to put him over Joe Biden. That specificity shows Trump's true motives. His call was not to protect voters from corruption. His call was not for justice for American voters. All he cares about is winning and he doesn't care whose votes he has to quash, as long as he gets the number he needs to win.

This is naked corruption staring us right in the face, with precisely the same arrogance displayed in the actions that earned his impeachment.
