@cascadeking09: Yeah, I know. Dont get me wrong. Gambit is one of my favourite marvel characters, but given Shivas quite insane level of skill and reflexes I just don't see him being able to take her down. Even with his powers.
You do realise that lady shiva is one of the most skilled martial artists in the entire DC universe? There's even a cult dedicated simply to worshipping her combat skills. They litterally see her as a god.
I havent picked up any issue of supergirl from before the reboot but I bought the first new 52 volume and it was really good! I definitely think you should give it a try.
It's great to see them actually making an effort to promote their female characters properly. To me Marvel has always felt like a mens only club and that's why I've stayed as far away from the company as I could. I'm guessing that will have to change now. My poor wallet.
You're completely right. The lack of female characters is actually the reason why I'm no longer following the series. I would love it if they added Black Canary, Vixen and Zatanna to the roster. I always thought of them as hard-core justice league members anyways.
