Is anyone else interested in a ComicVine Fantasy Football League? If so, let me know and I can get something setup. I've been using Yahoo for over 10 years and it works well and is completely free. Depending on response I am will to setup multiple leagues by experience so you don't have someone like Jen playing someone who is new to football and fantasy.
If the USA boycotts (i.e., doesn't send any participants) the winter Olympics it will be over Russia granting Edward Snowden temporary asylum for one year.
That one is pretty great. You could make a fortune selling toilet paper or just be a jerk and hang out in the bathroom and make them poop their pants. If you don't have to be near them to know, you could just send them texts asking how the pooping is going and freak them out.
Tony read and answered a question about Marvel Digital Unlimited. The price is slightly higher now, $10/month or $69/year. I purchased a one month pre-paid card from Toys R Us for $10 so I could try it and not worry about having my credit card being charged if I forgot to cancel it. I do feel the service is worth the money but the app and experience is not as polished as Comixology; their panel-by-panel view is broken (on the iPad 3 at least). I did a post on my impressions after one week earlier this month http://terminaliq.com/blog/2013/7/7/marvel-unlimited
In all honesty I could see them going with Scott Lang as Antman if they choice not to add Wasp.
If they go with Hank/Janet, I really hope they continue to pull Ultimate Universe because I want to see Captain America kick Giant Man's butt. Some the best parts of the Avengers was the hero vs. hero battles and this would allow for that and make it fit in the story.
I'm glad they've taken Ultron away from Hank Pym in the MCU. Hopefully they will introduce Hank as a great scientific mind and the one able to outwit Ultron and save the day. Maybe he'll even be introduced before the Avengers 2 in the Agents of SHIELD series. This will then setup the Ant Man movie which could have more of an Irredeemable Ant Man tone which is more suited to Edgar Wright (and possibly Simon Pegg as Eric O'Grady).
I couldn't find the original post. I wanted to share some titles that have been recommended to me that have been very helpful references/guidebooks to improve my grammar and style.
Elements of Style (Strunk & White) - this is a very small book that is easy to carry with you
Chicago Manual of Style - pretty much the definitive grammar guide for published works
AP Style Book - this one helps provide consistency on how to punctuate and capitalize words and phrases (e.g., a hyphen is needed to properly write e-mail and Internet should always be capitalized).
Be sure to check used bookstores. The one be me always has copies of Elements of Style and AP Style Book (you don't need the latest versions). Chicago Manual of Style is harder to find used since it is such a great reference guide.
