"@Static Shock: I don't know if there is a third scan not showing up or something but i cant see him in a car at the point of explosion....Also from the last scans it didn't look like he had been in the centre looked like he had escaped it and was dangling from some wires...if he was in the explosion safe as a daisy surely he would have walked out of the inferno like a bad man? I need to see him at the epicentre of a serious explosion taking the full effect.
What you are talking about with the grappling i understand it...but i don't think it will happen because, with no confirmation that his shields are the same [they certainly dont seem that way], i don't know if his daggers CAN get through the shield...in which case MC can strangle at his leisure.
The energy daggers dont seem strong enough to do anything. Shield aside the suti itself is extremely tough, Its made of titanium A battle plate....the same stuff they line their ships with, it survives re-entry and crash landings, and has a crystal layer to diffuse energy...i dont see these daggers as a problem ESPECIALLY not at range...talking maybe miles here depending on the weapon [Spartan laser, Covenant sniper rifle etc].
I don't know if John 117 punches faster than bullets, i doubt it [although he did slap away an anti-tank missile], but neither do most of BP's opponents and they tag him, heck neither does BP...the question could be reversed: can black panther punch faster than a bullet at a rate of 600 shots a minute?...in comics trying to compare projectiles they dodge and reconciling that with who can hit them is hard to do. MC has done the same things...outside of the suit, when not fully adjusted to his augmentations. End of the day his reflexes are better so it stands to reason MC will be the one outmanouvering and dodging more successfully.
How much can BP lift? 800lbs? Well, and this sounds very inelligent, all MC has to do is pin his arms with his legs, which he should be able to do because BP can be grabbed and thrown around and the Master Chief is faster, then strangle him with his hands, like how UFC fighters sit on their opponents and then pummel them..this should negate the energy daggers and the claws [if they can even hav an affect that is]...MC weighs half a ton 1000lbs...very hard for BP to get him off of him.
