Dont feel bad man, I mean if it werent for Canada there'd be no Rush, and a world without Rush is one I dont want to live in. Heck, Im listening to Tom Sawyer right now.
Well, I got bullied a lot in middle school, I did everything I could to convince the bullies that I was a psycho and eventually they quit hassling me, I decked this kid that picked on me for no reason, once before school started and another time in shop class, I threw my binder at another kid that kept taking my book. The thing is, once I got to high school I didnt get bullied mainly because I got into all the advanced classes. I beat up this fat kid that hassled me one summer. The biggest bully Ive had to put up with though is my father. Every conversation Ive ever had with him he either made fun of me or asked me for money. I thought about fighting him, but I realized that wont do anything but make me feel better, fighting just to fight isnt a good thing. If he starts talking garbage to me again, ill just tell him about himself and leave it at that.
Well about power girl, Geoff Johns wrote that scene, and god bless him for it, he was trying to justify the hole in her costume because this was around the time that Supergirl had returned to the DCU and Power Girl was questioning her own identity. Perhaps that was the best explanation he was could come up with. But I'd have to say Babs, it does sound like you're complaining about Wonder Woman again. Its not like she sought out Superman to validate herself as a hero. In the DCU, most heroes look up to Superman, you're making a mountain out of a molehill. As for moments that make me shake my head, Id have to say that Sins Past and One More Day were really messed up. Gwen would never cheat on peter, and if she did she wouldnt do it with Norman Osborn. and One More Day was just...stupid.
When OMD happened, I was a little upset about it. But then I got the "New ways to die" trade and I liked it. I decided to let it go and keep reading. I still think undoing the marriage and depowering spider-man was stupid, but jumping on the internet and complaining about it isn't going to help. Everyone blames spider-man for making the deal with Mephisto, which he wouldn't have done if Mary Jane hadn't talked him into it, and Quesada wanted the marriage erased anyhow, so it all circles back to him, and he's not Editor in Chief anymore. Its been three years since OMD I thought more people would have moved on by now, but I guess not.
I went for the spoiler, since marvel spoiled it already, I figured it was going to be that person, well you know how death in comics go, that person will be back within a year, or whenever a new writer takes over the book.
I'm not a big wonder woman fan, I think the problem with her is is that she's in "superhero mode" 24/7. She doesn't really have a day job like Superman and Batman do although bruce seems to be in superhero mode more than clark. If it were up to me, A Wonder Woman show should balance action and humor with a little drama and intrigue, like Chuck, or No Ordinary Family. That way the writers of the show could even out her personality so she can convey strength without coming off as stiff and humorless like she does in comics sometimes. This would also help her to be relatable to viewers.
