I think putting orion (who's kind of a pig) with wonder woman would be interesting for a while, but it would probably piss a lot of people off. Then again her relationship with superman is pissing a lot of people off, but if their relationship is the cause of the trinity war, than maybe johns will break them up after the event is over.

My favorite Rush song is Distant Early Warning. I also like some of the stuff from Vapor Trails like Freeze, Nocturne, Secret Touch, etc. It was an underrated album.

Well I liked Marineman a lot, I wish Ian Churchill would do a sequel, it ended on a cliffhanger.

I love that John Stewart got a nod, and hal mixing him up with Jon Stewart was even funnier.

I understand how you feel OP. I've been wanting to get into marvel's cosmic end for a while now, but I wont read GotG, I can't stand bendis's dialogue so Ill just read Hickman's avengers. You might also want to try godland or DC's Threshold. Its a good book, but that $3.99 price tag stinks.

It wasn't that bad, and Brandon Routh was a good superman, it was just too much like the first movie.

I never thought of the X men as being a rip off of superman. I always thought of them as a ripoff of the legion of superheroes. I do agree with some of your assessment, but I actually think that the problem with the X books is that that so many of them feature the same characters, when there are so many mutants to be used, take Brian Wood's new X book debuting next month. I understand that for an all female x team, you need kitty, rogue, psylocke, storm etc, but all A list teams aren't that interesting, I like teams with b-list characters because there is more that you can do with them creatively.

Black Panther and Storm beating the Silver Surfer, with all due respect to the Late Great Dwayne McDuffie. That scene made no sense, its just, ugh.

Don't beat yourself up so much, I was unemployed for a year before I got an internship. I'll keep looking around, but now I can put 2013 on my resume.

It seems these days that a lot of employers want a 25 year old with ten years experience. It doesn't make sense, and its awful for everyone.

What makes it worse is the lack of empathy, there are a lot of people who view the unemployed as lazy slackers who should shut up and go flip burgers. Or the people who say, "You should have majored in engineering or accounting." Ignoring the fact that STEM fields aren't as safe as the media wants you to think they are.
