I just finished my first picture on my Surface. I may not have the coloring process completely down, but it's a huge step up from the Wacom Bamboo pen tablet I was working with before.

This battle can be summed up in 3 words: All. The. Squirrels.

Sure, Terry has more experience fighting than Miles and his suit makes him a close physical match for Miles, but I think U. Spider-Man has the edge here.

With Terry, he's got the tutelage of Batman and I'm sure more than a bit has rubbed off. He endures Bruce's rigorous training and he's under his watchful eye almost all the time. But if Terry were to come across Miles, sight unseen, he'd more than likely hold back due to identifying almost immediately that Miles is just a 13 year old kid. Couple this with not fully comprehending Miles' abilities out the gate would, for a bit at least, put him at the disadvantage here. Terry's empathy with his foe's would end up his greatest stumbling block in this fight. Then there's the fact that if his suit were to be disabled in any way, the advantage fully swings [sic] in Mile's court.

Miles essentially has Peter Parker's abilities with a couple of extra to set him apart: Instinctive Invisibility and the Venom Strike. But his weakness is the product of his inexperience. He's young and far too prone to awe and wonder upon meeting other heroes. He's been mentored by Captain America and Jessica Drew, but he still has so much to learn. That said, although he fell victim to the aforementioned awe when meeting 616 Spidey, he proved to be a capable combatant when it came to it.

I imagine the fight to start with Terry attempting a stealth strike on Miles. Spider sense alerting him to imminent danger, he may be hit, but the heads up would allow him to evade just enough to soften the blow and counter attack with an acrobatic kick flip of some sort. Then there'd be the moment when both would pause for a moment, Terry noting that he's just a kid and Miles spouting verbal diarrhea to the effect of "OMFG, Batman!". Then both would continue the fight anew. Punches and kick would fly, then they'd both try to resort to long distance tactics. Miles, in successfully webbing up Terry, would find that although it slows him down, the webbing wouldn't prove to be a match for Terry's nanosuit strength. Using deception and cunning, Miles would end up snared by a Bat-rope. Since Miles is just a kid, Terry would want to know who this kid is and attempt to unmask him. And that, my friends is what ends up putting down the Bat: Curiosity. Miles would Venom Strike him, disabling Terry and giving the fight to Miles.

Is it a close fight? Sure, but all things equal, the Venom Strike is the thing that will always swing the fight to Miles' favor

With regard to the recent Spider-Men mini series, wouldn't the more reasonable assumption be that a 616 Miles Morales would be written in to be a short-term replacement for Peter?
