@bigbadwolfx0: Apologies on the delayed response. That said - it does look like the community has picked up the slack :)
Having said that - it certainly does look like that is the case. Having talked to my LCBS dealer - he said that the Harley Little Black Book issue had been pushed back to JAN. It would seem that was deliberate in the wake of SS vs JL; and I'm personally hoping there's some explanation between it all as to how/what/why it all happened.
That said, would like to also echo a few others in saying that: I'm glad the original is back.
Has anyone heard any plans regarding the character given the new direction in continuity? Seems like an excellent chance to clarify such a great character.
The definition of diversity means variety, considering Bruce banner was already this withdrawn, emotionally unstable man of average height instead of a 6'3" chiseled, perfect super hero, I would say he was already pretty "diverse"...
Oh no, wait, you are talking about the racist definition of diversity that means there are "too many white characters" right?? My bad.
This is well said. The only thing one might add is that a return to 'The Incredible Hulk' & stories that feature that character in said traditional title might rouse some readers. Like all of us, Banner has so many wrinkles to his psyche - and so many personalities of the Hulk that the stories are truly endless & fun to read!
Hmm. I don't think I've ever seen this happen - would be interested to know if it was by design or at least was a variable they were considering from the start.
Still, the series has been compelling work; good that it will allow for a full story to be told if it was in danger of not seeing that necessary space. Good on Marvel.
I don't think the staff needs to take any of these negative comments as a reflection upon their reporting. Mostly, these thoughts are probably being voiced as a way of saying 'I don't care for _x_ as a cover'. Even so, if the comments were truly being negative about the efforts of those whom are displaying their costumes - that's their prerogative.
Whereas this may in fact be a 'good idea' or even a neat marketing plan - the market is going to tell the seller what they will or will not bear. This particular venue is a solid, low-cost test bed for those ideas. Any publisher could benefit from looking at these control-group like settings which tell them how well their product is being received.
