Cap has been my favorite superhero for a long time mainly because of Brubaker's historic run on the character. Cap believes in fighting for what you believe in and what you think is right no matter how many people are against you. He is also one of the most inspirational heroes in all of comics. One of my favorite Cap moments is in the JLA/Avengers crossover Kurt Busiek and George Perez did. Although it might not be Canon, I love the part where Superman picks Steve to lead the teams into battle, and it seems that no one objects. It just shows how respected the character is.

Alright many people dislike Cyclops for all the times he has been a d-bag, but just think for a minute. Here is a guy who has lost his love multiple times while being hated by the public. There has been so much hate shown towards Scott that I think he has the right to be a little snotty (understatement). He has lead the mutants, not through good times and bad times, but through bad times and worse times. Despite his personality he has always hoped for the best for the mutants. He is such a strong leader, and that is why I love him.

I don't really understand why people dislike his character. To me Superman is what we as human beings should aspire to be. He brings out the best in us. He is the ultimate good, and isn't that what superheroes should be all about? He is super for a reason. Honestly Superman would be right behind Cap on this list if I wasn't such a devoted mutant.

I love Spider-Man because he used to be me. I'm the one who is a big nerd, and I'm the one who has trouble talking to girls. That was what Spider-Man was early on in his career. He also is the guy that other super heroes can depend on. He sticks to his ideas and his values and that's what makes him so great.
