I love Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and i hope MvC4 doesn't take as long as to come out as MvC3 did (10 freakin years). This is a list of possible characters that i think Marvel would consider, in somewhat of an alphabetical order, I will also list the pros and cons. If u think I missed anything, leave comments below, and I'll try and adjust the list.
Pros: One of the Hulk's biggest enemies, both physically and storywise, it seems natural to put him in.
Cons: Could end up being very similar to the Hulk, and the Hulk is already overpowered.
Pros: The creators of the Cosmic Cube and MODOK could be really interesting to play as.
Cons: No one would get excited about playing as an A.I.M agent.
Pros: He would be a well-balanced character with his super-strength and energy blasts. Representing the Negative Zone!
Cons: While comic book fans would be hyped to play as him, the general public wouldn't be familiar or that interested in the character.
Pros: One of the original X-Men, iconic, and if created well, could be awesome playing as both Angel and Archangel.
Cons: Can't really think of one at the moment.
Pros: Out of all the Ant-Men, O'Grady is the most badass of all. His growing and shrinking powers could add much more strategy and uniqueness to the game.
Cons: The shrinking powers would have to be done well to avoid it becoming cheap or useless.
Pros: Has already appeared in 2 versus games, one of the greatest villains of all time, and has a ton of powers that could be fun to play.
Cons: The amount of powers could be too much to try and squeeze into the game, so u won't feel as if ur really playing as Apocalypse.
Pros: Captain America's archnemisis, a great swordsman, and the moonstones could add an interesting wrinkle in the game.
Cons: His moonstones could make him overpowered with its many powers.
Pros: One of the original X-Men, well-loved character, and perhaps he can have an ability to activate his secondary mutation?
Cons: Again, none I can think of.
Pros: King of Wakanda, an important figure in Marvel history, and the husband of Storm.
Cons: He is naturally more powerful then most characters in the Marvel universe and that should carry over into the game making him as overpowered as Sentinel.
The Natasha Romanov version.
Pros: One of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best agents, has been a member of the Avengers, well-trained and is easily a character that'll be fun to play as.
Cons: Capcom may be too nervous about putting a KGB agent in a game.
Pros: The son of Satan could be fun to play as, was already in MvC2, and if not playable, a badass boss.
Cons: Reputation tarnished by horrible Ghost Rider movie.
Pros: 1/2 vampire and super bad-ass.
Cons: Why would you not put him in a game?
This refers to Bucky Barnes as the Winter Soldier. Pros: His natural fighting ability combined with the abilities of the cybernetic arm would make him a fun character to play as.
Cons: Capcom may not be willing to part Spencer, their own character with a cybernetic arm, for a sidekick.
Pros: Psychotic super assassin, an excellent boss in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, and would a well-balanced character.
Cons: Bullseye doesn't miss, which would make him overpowered.
Pros: Was a good character in MvC2, psionic powers make him fun to play as, and one of greatest warriors in Marvel history.
Cons: Could easily be overpowered.
Pros: A powerful psychic who happens to be the twin of Professor X could be an interesting subplot, mental paracitism could be interesting, and one of the most menacing villains in Marvel
Cons: Would u want to play as her knowing she's basically an aborted fetus
Pros: An iconic X-Man, he could switch between bodies, and appeared in the 1st 2 MvC's.
Cons: Can't think of one.
Pros: Leader of the X-Men, his beams are ridiculously awesome, and has appearead in past Marvel crossover games.
Cons: Not a lot of variety in his moveset
