We use contenteditable for parchment v2. You can still use CTRL + C to copy text which is silly.

@pikahyper: Do you mean you use the literal # character a lot? Also, I changed something so it should respond faster now which should help out with you second problem I think.

@Rabioso: Is this still happening? A bug was deployed earlier but it's already been reverted.

@Outside_85: What browser/OS are you using?

@FoxxFireArt: I just edited that page to test and italicized Neon Genesis Evangelion and it worked alright. Are you using the B, I, U buttons or are you copy/pasting text from somewhere else that's already formatted?
