Thx for the feedback everybody! Im relieved that I dont have to purchase all the other titles, although if finances permitted, I'd love to pick them up. Looking fwd to batman 13!
Just gave DCCOMICS.com some negative feedback concerning this. I guess I will miss out on big storylines in the future, because I will not fork out big bucks for crossovers. At $3-4 a book, it adds up really quick.
Just found out that there is going to be a "death of the family" story with the return of the Joker. Just like "nite of the owls", DC is doing a mega crossover.....again. To me this is more watered down Batman family nonsense in order for DC to make $$$$$$. needless to say, I wont be collecting the story due to personal budget constraints. Im happy collecting batman, detective,batman & robin, and dark knight only. Im getting fed up of all the crossovers and cant afford to buy multiple issues of nightwing, catwoman, batgirl,suicide squad,red hood, teen titans, just to keep up with the damn story. Any body else?
@Lvenger: It sounds great to me! Loved the intensity of the Bat-voice in that interrogation! Ive NO problem with Bale's Bat-voice, it sounds like its supposed to IMO!
Ive always liked Bale's Bat-voice. Never saw a problem in TDK. The low pitched-grumbly voice is part of the "fear" ensemble as mentioned in the comics. I also liked the terror in the Joker's voice when he's making that life-ransom video with the bat vigilante.
Yes! Ive got Batman vs Predator I & II miniseries, along with Batman vs Aliens! All 3 stories were awesome reads! I also love the predator movies! The original was the best IMO.
In the dark here. I really liked this character both as Azrael and his stint as Batman, post Knightfall. I collected the original Azrael series, but never knew what happened to Jean Paul. I read that someone else has taken over as Azrael? Anybody know?
Batman #489 was a prime example. Great story too, read it many times. I prefer these versions of the characters, not the cartoony, overblown current ones. The new versions are so over muscled and looney it looks as if neither character could reach up to scratch his' ear! Croc had a nice rematch with Bane midway through the Knightfall storyline, although Bane rebroke one of crocs' arms.
