Almost very comic on this site gets a 3 to 5 star rating...

This. I know this has been discussed numerous times over, but there really needs to be an overall adjustment to how scores are given on this site.

G-man, I'm not questioning your integrity or skill as a reviewer (I love you guys!), but don't you think a 5/5 should represent a book that NOBODY should miss? A book that is as good as it can be? A book that doesn't need to be a 5/5 with conditions? How many books do you really read that fall into that category each month? Maybe you love comics more than me, but I find those books to be few and far between. A 5/5 should be just perfect, everything you could have possibly wanted in one issue. A 4/5 should be a great book that's entertaining and high quality but doesn't necessarily rock your world. A 3/5 should be a good, average book. A 2/5 should be kind of a mediocre book, not completely irredeemable but not something you would recommend. Finally, a 1/5 should be a book you didn't like, wouldn't recommend, and that you'd tell people to stay away from. Maybe that's an oversimplification; you tell me.

Anyway, I know this is a controversial book and that there are going to be people who are just saying it's crap because it's not their thing or whatever. Personally I don't care about X-Men or The Avengers. I just stopped by to see the review out of curiosity and this is where it left me.

Achewood deserves mention. It's not updated very regularly these days, but damn it's good.

I've really been enjoying aquaman, but sometimes the writing is a bit too silly for me. I think it's just Geoff Johns, and it's nowhere near as goofy in Aquaman is at is in Super Friends (otherwise known as JLA), but it still gets to me a little. Still, it's nice to hear that this series is staying good into the new storyiline.

I read a preview of this series in the back of Punisher #9 last night and man does it look terrible. There's a couple of panels in there where Cap goes to talk to Wolverine and Wolverine is just chillin in the mansion sitting on a couch wearing his costume like that's just the sort of thing you wear to chill on the couch. Ridiculous.

I think one is enough. He's good, I mean really good, but variety is the spice of life.

I don't see what the big deal is here. DC has a right to print as inferior an edition of Year One as they want, stepping on as many toes and burning as many bridges as they want while they do it. David is simply letting us know that this is an inferior edition. Thanks for the heads-up.

This show does NOT deserve the praise it's it getting. It's NOT that good!

This. It's great that more people are getting exposed to TWD, but really the show pales in comparison to the comic. I guess the rest of TV is so bad that this seems like a good show? I don't know, I don't watch much TV.
